When Time Unfolds: Award Silver
sabata229 May 2020
This was a thoughtful, powerful and refreshing movie tackling a very difficult subject in a dramatic, sensitive and moving way.

In short it is the kind of movie few amateurs would dare to tackle.

Of those very few would have pulled it off as successfully as you have done.

Congratulations on a well-deserved Silver Award to all concerned.

This seemed to be an ensemble movie with the contributions of script, direction, performance and craft all combining smoothly.

Jan was particularly impressed by how well planned and structured it was.

The characters of Lee and Kate were convincing and sympathetic.

So far as direction was concerned there was little to criticise.

The use of beach locations was a powerful metaphor in addition to being

a central point onto which elements of the plot could be hung.

I can only say that the more I come to know about movie making the more impressed I am by the people who do it. The dedication and determination need to produce a film of this quality is rare indeed. Congratulations on your success ... and thanks for a very thought-provoking movie.

Dave Watterson.

JUDGES: Colin Jones, Dave Watterson, Jan Watterson.
