Too long!
13 July 2006
I saw this move pretty late at night and I don't know if I was in the wrong frame of mind to watch this movie but I thought that they were trying to do too much in one movie. Too many plot lines, too many characters, however interesting they may be, too many story lines. My main problem with this movie is the length. 150 minutes is a long time for any movie, but especially one of this nature. This has huge entertainment value, in other words people come to see this movie for fun. It loses much of that due to some slow parts during the movie. Possible I need to watch the first movie again to get into the spirit. However the effects of Davy Jones and his crew are impressive.

Great to see these 3 awesome comedians together
27 March 2006
Three of the greatest (and dirtiest) comedians ever together in this one movie. Funny, hilarious, yes at bit off color with the many uses of the f word but still a great movie with a nice sting at the end. Get over the F word! If you haven't seen this movie in a while, go back and watch it. The first time I watched it, I was lukewarm about it. Now I go back and watch it, grateful that it was made especially since the passing of Richard Pryor (and Redd Foxx).

If you haven't heard any of their stand up, go listen. It's awesome. Richard Pryor is the best.

My only complaint is that Arsenio Hall's character was stupid.

This movie shows Tarantino's growth as a director and writer (slight spoiler)
10 October 2003
Warning: Spoilers
I am thoroughly impressed with Tarantino's growth as a writer and director and liked his homage to the martial arts genre. The anime was a nice added touch. My only complaint is having to wait until February to see volume 2. This movie is by far Tarantino's finest.

Psycho (1998)
The thought of a remake of a Hitchcock, at first, appalled me.
11 July 1999
As a Hitchcock enthusiast, the idea of remaking a Hitchcock movie usually appalls me. In fact, I didn't watch this movie on the big screen, but finally broke down and rented it from a local video store. This movie didn't try to improve as some of the other Hitchcock remakes have done. It was a tribute to the original. It was like watching the same movie in color. I recommend this movie to anyone who is a Hitchcock fan or to those who simply like a good tongue-in-cheek suspense.

I cried when I heard the music!
21 May 1999
I'm a huge Star Wars fan and have greatly anticipated this movie. I wasn't disappointed in this movie at all. I was surprised that Samuel L. Jackson wasn't in this movie more with all the hype about him being in it. I LOVED Darth Maul. He was a great villain. Senator Palpatine played great sleaze. I'm ready for the next 2 movies!!!

This is my very favorite movie!! Bobafett is my favorite character
2 October 1998
I love this movie dearly. We find out Darth Vader is Luke's father, Han and Leia get together, and Boba Fett makes his appearance. Let's not forget the wonderful Cloud City, Bespin, is first shown.
