Jim Carrey, the best actor in America.

This the best comedy I`ve ever seen. I love Jim Carrey and this is the funniest and most crazy film I have seen. The Farrely brothers are good

at making comedies and I also loved Dumb and dumber. Renee Zellweger is good in this film and she also very sweet. I haven`t laughed this much since....NEVER!! See this film, I recommend it strongly to people who like a good laugh. 9/10

The Perfect Storm (2000)

STUNNING!!

I will never forget this movie,the blistering effects and the cast as well is good. The great Wolfgang Petersen directs a good film about some fishermen who gets cought in the perfect storm. George Clooney is good as the veteran captain of the ship and Mark Wahlberg is impressive in the role of the beginner Bobby. The effects of this film is superb and the powerful music makes the storm even bigger and more scarier. You really get cought up in this film and and you`re catching you breathe every a big wave flushes over the ship. Like I said, a good film about the perfect storm. I give it a 8/10.

Das Boot (1981)

The best and most realistic war movie ever made.

I saw this movie (the directors cut) a couple of days ago and it lasts for about 3 hours and 30 minutes. But it was 3 hours well spend, this is maybe the best film ever made.I don`t like german films but this one is spectacular and acclaimed as the best war movie all over the world.

The acting is superb and Wolfgang Petersen is genius, he proves it with this film. The silence and the bombing and the flashing lights, you simply can`t move.It`s very exciting too, as well as the epic style makes this film a brilliant journey through WW2. Best war movie and maybe the best movie all over. 10/10!

A great action movie with Bruce Willis in the role of the toughest cop in America,John McClane. This film is exciting and very violent at times, so everyone that likes action got to love this film. A fun experience to watch this film and it`s the best genre. I give this film a 10/10!!! Jippikajei,Mother****er!!!

Ed Wood (1994)

A great film about a horrible filmmaker.

This is a wild and almost unbeliveable story about Ed Wood.His love for films were great and he tried to do good,but again and again he failed. This movie about his life is a great film and Johnny Depp is outstanding in the role of Wood. Martin Landau is memorable in his oscar-winning performance as Bela Lugosi.

I love Tim Burton and this is his best film!! It`s so good and the story is very touching and you begin to feel sorry for Ed Wood because he was a very nice person. This movie has it all,it`s funny,exciting,touching and superb. It has everything Ed Wood`s films did not have,so enjoy this film...It`s a must-see!! Rating:9/10.

Welcome Home (1989)

Schaffner`s finishing touch.And he finishes off in style.

This film is good,but not Schaffner`s best. My favourite is Papillon and Patton,but this is a sad and very nice film. Kris Kristoffersen is good in this movie and really makes a difference. I am going to miss Schaffner and this is his last film.

Casino (1995)

Scorsese is great,and so is Casino!

When I first saw this film I thought it was very good, but nothing special.When I saw it again I thought it was maybe the best film ever made.The way it`s told and what amazes me the most is that the story is true. I love Scorsese and Robert De Niro and this is their best film together after Raging Bull.Sharon Stone is very good in this film and as always Joe Pesci is very convincing.

This film deserves a place in the top 250 and it also deserved some oscars. The movie lasts for 3 hours,but it feels like 1 hour, I mean...It`s never boring and I can watch this movie every day and not get tired of it. It`s absolutely a brilliant film and the acting is beautiful and thank you to Nicholas Pileggi(co-writer and the book).

The movie is so realistic in every way and it`s truly a masterpiece.Robert De Niro handles the role as "Ace" perfectly and this is maybe he`s best role after Jake La Motta(Raging Bull). Joe Pesci is always great together with De Niro and this role is very similar to the role as Tommy in Goodfellas(also directed by Scorsese). And last but not least,Sharon Stone. She really deserved that oscar because in this film she is so great and manages the role great.

So you have to see this film,it`s one of the best ever.It` really a bit touching to because in the end they lose everything. The music also is absolutely great and this is a clear 10/10. Scorsese+De Niro=SUCCESS!!

The Unfinished Journey (1999)

Great documentary

What else can you say....it`s great. Steven Spielberg is genius and everything he does is successful. I didn`t even like documentaries before I saw this one,but this one is very good and I respect the genre. Keep up the good work,Spielberg!!

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)

Forman+Nicholson=Superb

This is a very special film,it`s the first of it`s kind and it had to be Milos Forman(man on the moon, amadeus)that directed it,it was his breaktrough and it put him on the list of the other great directors, Scorsese,Stone,Coppolla and Tarantino.

The acting in this film is so great that everybody that acted in this movie deserved an Academy Award. Jack Nicholson got one for his role as McMurphy, and Louise Fletcher also got one for her role as nurse Ratched.The story is very fascinating and actually very touching.It is a very funny film to,it`s a bit like Man on the moon.You don`t know if you should cry or laugh.

This is maybe the greatest film ever made and it is a must-see for everybody that likes to watch a good film.Milos Forman`s directing is so good it`s almost scary(he also got an Oscar for Best Director). Jack Nicholson(as usual)is more than great,he`s fantastic in his role,so don`t miss out on this one. It is one of the greatest.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Great and beautiful

This film is so beautiful and so touching I had problems seeing it without crying. Who knew Stephen King could write like this and the first film of Frank Darabont(later he directed The Green Mile)was to be one of the greatest films ever made. Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins are excellent in this movie and the way the story itself is told is pure genius.

It`s a brutal and violent film ,but still it`s the most beautiful and loving film I`ve ever seen. It`s a story about friendship and hope and the road to freedom.The greatest scene in the film is when Andy and his fellow-prisoners work at the roof,and Andy is nearly killed by captain Hadley, but ends up drinking beer in the morning sun with his friends "like free men".

Jesus Christ Superstar (1973)

The greatest musical ever.

This film is the best musical I have ever seen and the music is so great it is almost unbelievable. Norman Jewison later made the movie Hurricane, but this film is just as good.The music itself and the lyrics are fantastic and the result is excellent.I recommend this film to people who love great music and fantastic movies. Before I saw this musical, I hated the genre.But my love for musicals got bigger and bigger every time I saw this movie and I still watch it.

The Godfather (1972)

It doesn`t get any better than this

This film will forever stand as the truly greatest of it`s time or of all time.You will not find a better movie anywhere and if you don`t think this film is great,well you got a serious problem. I thank Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola for this film and I hope we will see Coppola back in action soon. The acting as well is brilliant and Marlon Brando as the godfather,he is just amazing.This film only recieved three Oscars and it should have got more. This is a film about the mob or the "cosa nostra" but it is also a film about family and friendship.It`s a very touching film and a very beautiful film. This is the ultimate film and I love it. So it doesn`t get any better than this and to all of you out there who haven`t seen it,you don`t know what you`re missing. This is the BEST!!!!

Man on the Moon (1999)

A masterpiece

This film is one of the best films I`ve ever seen. Jim Carrey is fantastic in the role of Kaufman and Forman have done a great job as usual.I think it was good that Forman showed many of Kaufman`s performances and shows,because we in Europe are unknown to Kaufman and doesn`t know much about him.After I saw this film I really wanted to find out more about Andy and so I did. The music by R.E.M. is great, i bought the soundtrack at once and I recommend others who liked this film to do the same.It`s really a very sad story and a very funny story at the same time and that alone makes the film great.Jim Carrey deserved that Oscar!!
