In 1999, a motion picture called " The Matrix" became a new sensation and captured the imagination of Audiences around the world. It set a new standard in Sci-fi/action, it stars " Keanu Reeves" and

"Laurence Fishburne" who fight to free mankind in a computerized Universe called " The Matrix". It is an amazing and spectacular motion picture that you should add to your Library.

10/10 ( a perfect score to a new remarkable movie.)

Along with " The Matrix" and " The Phantom Menace" are all the three most spectacular rides of the year 1999. Brendan Fraser plays an Explorer who stumbles upon an old Egyptian Kingdom that is guarded by terrible Spirits including " Imotep". full of non-stop thrills, Spills, Chills, and yes folks! some Scares.

A very entertaining Sci-fi work from Paul Verhoeven.
14 March 2002
This is his second best film with " Robocop" being third and

" Total Recall" being number one, this is also on my list of the best of 1997. It is based on Robert Heinlein's 1958 Novel about a group of Soldiers who arrive on a Planet filled with Alien Insects who crave for Human Blood, the war between both kind starts. Filled with Spectacular visual Effects and Action that won't disappoint you.

Similar movies recommended: Total Recall, Robocop, Akira, Star Wars, Braveheart, The Fifth Element, The Thing, and Aliens.

Braindead (1992)
As far as they say, the bloodiest film in Horror history.
14 March 2002
Excellent Horror masterpiece from the director of " Lord of the Rings" and " Bad Taste" Peter Jackson. This New Zealand import is about an old Woman who gets bitten by a Rat-like creature and is turned into a Zombie that suddenly bites Guests and turns them into Zombies. It's a perfect Gore film to make your Stomach churn and make you

giggle at the same time.

Similar movies recommended: The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, Bad Taste, From Dusk Till Dawn, Basket Case, The Toxic Avenger, House by the Cemetery, The Beyond, City of the Living Dead, Return of the Living Dead, Bio-Zombie, Resident Evil and Zombie.

Bad Taste (1987)
Extremely Gory yet very cool movie.
14 March 2002
This New Zealand cult 1987 Horror Science-Fiction comedy import is from Peter Jackson ( Director of Lord of the Rings and Dead Alive) sure knows how to entertain. It's about a group of suspicious looking guys in Blue Shirts ( Aliens in disguise) who are killing people and turning them into Fast Food for their Planet, now it's up to a trio of Stooge-like Fellows to stop this intergalatic Menace. A cool movie full of Graphic Gore, Action, B-movie effects and everything that makes this a literally Bloody good time.

Manhunter (1986)
Great Thriller.
14 March 2002
This is the official prequel to " Silence of the Lambs" and " Hannibal". It's a rare and underrated Gem of a Suspense movie but luckily, it's gotten a Cult following. It's based on Thomas Harris's Red Dragon, it is about a Detective named " Graham" who is assisted by a Mental patient named " Hannibal Lector" to find an insane criminal named " The Tooth Fairy". Entertaining and chilling portrait of going after a Criminal, if you enjoyed " Silence" or " Hannibal" check this movie out.

Aliens (1986)
A classic sequel from Cameron.
14 March 2002
This popular masterful sequel to the 1979 Shocker is Great, all thanks to the brilliant James Cameron. It's set forty-years after Ripley ( Weaver) had a terrifying experience with a certain Monster, now comes back with a Marine Crew to the same Planet to wipe out those pesky Sons of B's including the Queen Alien herself. It's got a great score by Titanic's James Cameron, lots of Action with thrills, chills, blood, splatter and kills to keep you awake.

Other similar movies recommended: Alien, Alien3, C.H.U.D, The Thing, Pod People ( MST3K episode), The Matrix, Starship Troopers and Total Recall.

10/10 ( better than the first, James Cameron is a God to me.)

An underrated Horror classic of the 80's.
14 March 2002
Yet some horror fans seem to either love or hate this movie, i still think it's excellent in it's own manner. It's the final in the Living Dead series, it is about the last surviving Humans who are living in a underground Bunker where they must come up with a

plan that would help them escape from the Zombies. It still offers plenty of Graphic Gore that " Dawn" wouldn't offer, this one is not for the Squeamish.

Similar movies i would recommend: Dawn of the Dead, Re-Animator, The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, The Thing ( 1982), Total Recall, The Toxic Avenger, From Dusk Till Dawn, Lifeforce, Lucio Fulci's Zombie, C.H.U.D, Return of the Living Dead, The Stuff, House by The Cemetery, The Beyond, Rats, Scanners, Resident Evil, Dead Alive, and Stephen King's The Stand.

9/10 ( half perfect but very good stuff.)

An unforgettable Science-Fiction Shocker from Ridley Scott ( Director of " Gladiator") presents a creative blend of Sci-fi, Horror, Gore and Suspense. Sigourney Weaver stars as " Lt. Ellen Ripley" with her crew John Hurt, Yaphette Kotto and Ian Holm who accidently bring a deadly terrifying Creature on board which will leave them nothing but bloody horror.

The haunting 1978 Horror classic.
14 March 2002
George Romero's popular sequel to his " Night of the Living Dead" continues with the Zombies still on the loose on America since the

incident with the House. A group of four people shelter themselves at Monroeville Mall in Pennsylvania while the Zombies are outside waiting for them. It's not just an Exciting Splatter film but a social commentary on the mindless excesses of our Society gone mad.

Also recommended: Zombie, Day of the Dead, Mallrats and The Evil Dead.

The Best movie ever made!!!
13 March 2002
This will be forever in my Books as the single greatest motion picture ever made, will be made and was made. Before Osama Bin Laden destroyed the Twin Towers, there were Aliens who destroyed other Landmarks in this World including the White House, but a group of Earthlings must save Mankind and the 4th of July from the Apocalypse. This 1996 Sci-fi Action masterpiece set a huge influence for the disaster movies of today and a big Box-Office record worth of $ 100,000,000 plus earning the Academy Award for best Visual Effects. The DVD of this movie has the official director's Cut featuring new Scenes to make the Skeptics of this movie understand in a logical kind of manner. We all need a little patriotic spirit in us since the attacks on sept 11th and this movie is what we Patriots need to see. It also features Will Smith, Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Robert Loggia and Judd Hirsch.

I would also recommend: Stargate, The Fifth Element, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Jurassic Park, The Phantom Menace, Armageddon, Men in Black, Braveheart, The Rock, Twister, Mission: Impossible, Con Air, Attack of the Clones, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Terminator 2, "V", Titanic and The Matrix.

Great Horror Comedy.
13 March 2002
I'm a Horror fan myself and i must say that this is " The best Horror Comedy ever made". It's about two Outlaw Brothers ( George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino) who take a Father ( Harvey Keital) and his family hostage, forces them to hide out in a Mexican Bar that is unknown to them owned by Vampires. Well-made and with snappy dialog, hard-hitting action and loads of Gore.

Similar movies recommended: The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Day of the Dead, Dead Alive, Return of the Living Dead, Bad Taste, Re-Animator, The Lost Boys, Vamp ( 1986 Grace Jones film), Lucio Fulci's Zombie, City of the Living Dead, The Toxic Avenger, Scream, Total Recall, The Convent, The Item, Idle Hands, Starship Troopers, Total Recall, Suspiria, Phenomena, Tenebre, Ninja Scroll, Desperado, The Rock, The Forsaken, Resident Evil: The Movie, Fist of the North Star, Robocop, and Vampire Hunter D.

You have to watch this movie for yourself to understand it all, but it does have amazing Animation and music to go with it.

Stargate (1994)
One of the finest Sci-fi Gems of the 90's.
13 March 2002
From the creators of " Independence Day" Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin presents a fascinating and uniquely entertaining Sci-fi Fantasy Epic starring Kurt Russell and James Spader. The movie deals with an ancient Alien Egyptian Ring that has been buried for centuries has been re-discovered and it sends a militant group into another dimension filled with weird creatures and Egyptian-like Aliens who plan on taking over the universe. Highly recommended if you love " Independence Day", this is one underappreciated moive.

Other similar movies recommended: The Fifth Element, Independence Day, The Dark Crystal, The Princess Bride, Spaceballs, Big Trouble in little China, Escape from New York, The Mummy, Universal Soldier, Roland Emmerich's Making Contact, Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, The Secret of NIMH, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Highlander, The Phantom Menace, Return of the Jedi, The Mummy Returns, Attack of the Clones, Tron, Starship Troopers and Total Recall.

The last Great entry in the awesome Evil Dead trilogy.
13 March 2002
Ash ( Bruce Campbell) who fought the Demonic Deadites in ED 1 and ED 2 has traveled back in time, but must find a way to get back to his own time has to deal with more Deadites. Entertaining and very funny movie, while i think this is more Fantasy-Comedy than a Horror movie. I own both versions of this movie on DVD such as the Regular edition with the Happy-go-lucky ending where he battles the Deadite and saves a Girl, and also the Director's Cut with more footage and the not-so-nice

Ending.

A Horor masterpiece that will never be forgotten.
13 March 2002
in 1968, George Romero wrote and directed a low-budget thriller about A Woman with five people trapped in a Isolated House surrounded by hordes of Flesh-Eating walking Dead Bodies. It became the Classic Horror movie of it's time and a instant hit at theaters with both Audiences and critics alike. This is another must own Horror movie for your collection.
