It's Kannada Film Era
30 December 2023
I must say that Side-B is undoubtedly the best movie I've seen this year. The characters were very relatable in the first part, but in the second part, it made me question my own choices and mistakes. I wondered how they would wrap up such a complex story after the first part, but hats off to the team for executing it seamlessly. The actors did a great job, and the technicians portrayed the meaning behind each scene perfectly. Although the first part may have felt slow-paced for some, it was meant to be that way. The second part was perfectly intense and much darker than the first. I cannot put it into words, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. Overall, it was the kind of film that takes you by surprise and leaves you in deep contemplation. Both Side-A and Side-B caught me off guard, and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Asteroid City (2023)

Disconnected

I found it hard to get immersed decently, Wes Anderson's films have become more unrealistic and cartoonish, lacking emotional depth and conflict. In the movie. R However, the technical aspects of the film were well-executed. I recommend people watch Wes Anderson's earlier works, particularly those that dealt with human relationships and character emotions, such as The Royal Tenenbaums. While The Grand Budapest Hotel was a great film, it seems like Wes Anderson's work has changed since then and lacks the same level of authenticity. Asteroid City was too surreal and felt like it tried too hard. The French Dispatch was enjoyable, but it seems like Wes Anderson's recent work is a step backward in terms of modern filmmaking.

This Franchise is Dead

I think we've reached a point where Transformers is no more for adults. There should be a reason for a movie to exist so far from the movie we can tell that its only reason is to attract an audience and the box office. What happened to the transformers from our childhood? I lost respect for all the characters. The script was too dumb and weak. Aliens invade or eat Earth and our heroes team up to defend it. Plot of a modern sci-fi movie. A little bit of attention to detail could save this plot but didn't. Criticism aside I think Transformers is for people who are too tired of movies and want to watch some adventure flick with no need of concentration. It's bad. It's too bad. But it's not that "brain hurt" bad.

Whatever You Wanted But Not Ethan Hunt Needed
13 July 2023
When it came to this film it delivered whatever you expected from an MI franchise. Whether it's breathtaking stunts, awe-inspiring tools, or down to the last minute win or die situations it lacked in two elements overall. The effect and the story. In the end we feel like the movie is at the intermission. The team could fit both the Dead Reckoning parts in the same. The plot is not that compact or complicated. It could be done and would've helped. There is no reason to half-cook this movie. Yes, there are some serious turns in this movie but in the end, it was all about action stuff. The sequence takes place but we miss the the foundation or the description of its existanse. Tom Cruise still has that James Bond charisma as well as the rest of the cast. Hayley Atwel filled her screen time as a fresh start and she nailed it. Her presense was a plus point. Overall it is a fine movie. Tell me otherwise if one could find a decent action movie in 2023.

Whatever You expect from a Sopranos episode David Chase delivered it
1 October 2021
The film adapted the entire family well. The writer still hasn't lost his touch. I still wish this could've been a Tv show. This movie felt like a promo rather than a feature film. They advertised this film as Tony's legacy but that's not what happens. This entire film is about his uncle. He is a new character to us but we still love him as we loved all the other characters in Sopranos. The main plus point for this film is its cast. They would make us this for even a minute that they were different actors. The slow music too is awesome. I felt chills when the Sopranos title track played. This film doesn't feel like it is over done. But at the same time it felt a little empty. I feel the exact same way that I felt with the Sopranos. But that's me I watched this film at home. I don't know how its like for theatre. But I am sure I would be disappointed if I watched it there. There are some moments in the film where only sopranos fans can notice and if they did then that scene it self stands alone with the rest of the movie. Only some characters aren't fit for example Silvio is my favourite character but in this I felt a little off when I saw him. I loved Dick Moltasanti character I wish I want to see more of him. But I think its not possible. I hope to see more adaptations from this franchise. Crime never delivers boredom.

No Time to Wait for
30 September 2021
I am obsessed & I am depressed. Its been an year since I've seen a decent film in theatres. This film is more emotional than intense. The story could've felt routine if it was fast paced. The slow sequences made made me feel each scene. The elements felt ordinary when you've known many films for example extra flashbacks which were never mentioned before. I would rate 10/10 for action sequences. I've waited months for this film now I feel empty that I've watched it. I could say this film held on both sides as Casino Royal & Skyfall. I couldn't say this is better than those both but this film did what the other two films didn't. That is it broke my heart. It felt completely emotional. I wish I had seen more of Ana de Armas character. The rest of characters felt like they doesn't matter and that's because this film is completely centred on Bond. I still feel the entire movie in my head. I am connected to him in this than any other his film. Daniel Craig has done an excellent Job on his last Bond film. If you want to watch this keep this in mind that this film isn't about British Secret Service or the end of the world. This is about James Bond.
