James Cameron Nearly Perfect Termination
26 January 2024
Arnold Schwarzenegger's first breakout role, in one of the most intense, thrillers ever in cinema!

James Cameron found the perfect fit for this role! The makeup design, the robot, even the Terminator's eye lashes burning off is all but terrifying! Arnold looks at times more scary than the robot itself! As a kid. This movie will give you nightmares. As an adult. You know you're witnessing a near perfect termination!

From start to finish the movie its entertaining!

It's fast pace and chilling!

One of the best parts of the film is when the skin burns off the Terminator. The robot effects is just groundbreaking for its time! This movie is easily Arnold's best film ever!

Wrestlemania 28 is the epitome of what WM 18 should've been. A great card with a once in a lifetime main event! Wrestlemania 28 is one of the greatest Wrestlemania's ever! Everything about this event is entertaining!

Sheamus defeating Bryan in a matter of 28 seconds! To the best in the world Cm Punk vs Chris Jericho.

To HHH vs The Undertaker in the cell with Shawn Michaels as the ref. A match that won best match of the year. Then there's the main event The Rock vs John Cena! The event was electrifying from start to finish! And a wrestling fan's dream main event!

WWE gave the fans what they wanted from WM 28 and the event was highly satisfying! A good feeling!

Remembered Only Because Hogan vs The Rock
24 January 2024
Wrestlemania 18 is one of the most overrated Wrestlemania's ever! It was a good show! But not a great show! Hogan vs The Rock truly outshined the whole match card of the night! As it should've been the main event of Wrestlemania 18! Steve Austin was even screwed with a match against Scott Hall. The match card for this event was far from stellar. Instead it was just above average. Chris Jericho vs HHH was one of the worst main events ever in Wrestlemania history! HHH is far too overrated and is not a great Wrestlemania main eventer! He is just an overhyped Test! Ric Flar vs Undertaker was a good match. As for the rest of the card, who even remembers the card? It's forgettable! When looking back at this event. The only thing that is remembered is how Hogan vs The Rock had one of the most thunderous ovations of a crowd ever for a match! Which really helped build this match in being one of the biggest matches ever!

The Pentacle/Climax of Greatness!! The Greatest/Best Wrestlemania Ever!
24 January 2024
Every match on this card was a stunner!

The epitome of pro wrestling/sports entertainment at its climax!

Even William Regal vs Jericho was that darn good!

The TLC match was the best tag team match ever!

Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit was technical, brilliance of pro wrestling! A true wrestling fan's dream match!

Then HHH vs The Undertaker. Vince McMahon vs Shane O Mac. The main event of Steve Austin vs The Rock. This card was packed! This event also had one of the most popping crowds ever! The event was so great that the crowd was still red hot even when Austin and The Rock fought! If this was a concert event of 3 hours. The crowd would've wanted an encore! But at Wrestlemania 19 that encore was fulfilled.

At Wrestlemania 17 the wrestlers gave it all they had in Houston! This was an event of pentacle greatness!

A Shining Masterpiece
24 January 2024
Stephen King's *The Shining* is a slow, spine tingling, physiological thriller! A Shining Masterpiece! The films slow adaption is one of the best slow, draws ever in cinema history! The car ride along the Colorado mountains with the Ariel view, the welcoming to the overlook hotel, the slow buildup of showing every room, every detail, there's no film like the shining.

The Shining captures the true pentacle of horror without even being a horror film. Yet the film makes the hairs on the arm stand up from start to finish!

As for casting. Jack Nicholson gives one of the best performances ever in cinema! And so does his co star actress Shelly Duvall! One of the best screamers in horror film history! Even the little boy Danny is a phenomenal actor for his role! The film is packed with a Shining cast!

The Shining is a Shining Masterpiece!

An Inaccurate Masterpiece
24 January 2024
The Da Vinci Code is a piece of art displayed on the cinema stage! It's a physiological thriller from start to finish! A brilliant puzzle that will keep you glued at the edge of your seat! Tom Hanks acting is artistic! He is brilliant for this role! Cracking codes exceptionally! The film is poetry in motion! While there are also flaws to the film. Such as the inaccuracy's concerning Christ being mere man and that HE was married to Mary.

The facts are the true beliefs of The Bible concerning Christ, which is believed by billions worldwide. Not this film's opinion. Yet in a cinematic opinion Da Vinci Code is a masterpiece! That should've deserved Oscar wins for best picture for the year in 2006. But due to the inaccuracies. Da Vinci Code is an inaccurate masterpiece, which received criticism due to its inconsistency to historic Biblical text.

The Great Ending To An Epic Halloween Trilogy!
10 January 2024
The continuation of Halloween's serial masked killer passing the torch to Corey Cunningham was brilliant! Of course watching the movie we expect to see the usual Micheal Myers whom dominates the film series. But such a twist of fate that Micheal Myers would have a tag team partner. The film is a physiological, thriller and a Great film! The ending fight scene between Myers and Laurie was the most brutal fight between them ever! I know there are those that critic this film based on Micheal Myers not being much in it, or him being replaced, or him being killed at the end. The great trick in the film is convincing the viewer that Micheal Myers is dead and Halloween ends. Don't forget! His mask was still on the table and who knows? Maybe the curse of Micheal Myers passed on to Corey Cunningham. So what's next?

Halloween Begins?

Harry Potter Is This Century's Wizard of OZ!
10 January 2024
Harry Potter Sorcerer's Stone is Magical, Wondrous, Whimsical, An Instant Classic! From riding on magical trains to flying on magical brooms! Harry Potter is like nothing the 2000s millennium kids have ever seen before! It's this century's Wizard of OZ on the big screen! The film is absolutely charming! With a Grandeur castle in Hogwarts! Also the music, scenes are breathtaking! The cast is just spot on! An amazing cast! Richard Harrison as Dumbledore! Is a standout in my opinion! Just a perfect choice for the Grand Wizard himself! I personally like Alan Rickman as Snape also! Truly a devious character and great acting! An applause can go to basically every actor on this film! Everything about this film is stunning!

Now why isn't it a 10 star on my review though? It very well could be! With the production, scenes, music, score, acting, everything can put this movie at a 10 star level!

What halts it from reaching that pentacle is that it is a kid's film overall. Yes. A kids masterpiece! Yet. It doesn't reach the caliber of Star Wars or Lord of The Rings. Due to the pre teen ages of the main cast. Yet. Good news is that Harry Potter is a series of 8 films! Which progresses in my opinion to be one of the best/greatest evolution of franchise films ever! The series just keeps getting better!

Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's stone is Simply Magical!

The Empire Of Fantasy Films!
10 January 2024
Space Breaking! Ground Breaking! Cinematic, Revolutionary history! Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back is The Empire of Fantasy films! Untouchable! Flawless! The lead up to Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader's battle is one of the best battles ever in cinema history! To the grand unveiling of who is your daddy? Pun intended. This film has everything! The Scenes, The Grandeur, The Score, Everything! A film ahead of its time! And a film that many fantasy film makers would only wish they could match up to. The second instalment to The Star Wars franchise only set the bar much higher! Where it took a fantasy film franchise like Lord of The Rings 20 years to even match the bar!

Even Greater Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back has maybe the most shocking moment in cinema history! That everybody at the cinema's jaw dropped!

10/10 perfection!

A New Hope For Fantasy Films
10 January 2024
Star Wars a New Hope set the bar for fantasy films to come! With ground breaking or should I say space breaking scenes! The first instalment to The Star Wars franchise was revolutionary for cinema! Way before CGI! Even more impressive the revolutionary space film making was made with toys! Brought to you by George Lucas and company! A film like such was never seen like this in cinema at its time! It was light years ahead of its time! Even better now when watched in Blu Ray! This film is and was the chosen one! Just as Luke Skywalker was the chosen one! Star Wars a New Hope was and is an architect for fantasy films! Period!

Oppenheimer Is This Generation's Titanic In Cinema
8 January 2024
Oppenheimer is on par with being the biggest, historic event film since Titanic! Christopher Nolan directs a Masterpiece with this booming piece of art! Murphy whom plays Oppenheimer is absolutely exceptional! Well deserved to win the best actor/performance award at the Oscars! And also Robert Downey Jr whom plays Lewis Strauss also deserves an award for best supporting actor! The award ceremony could be awarded to many on the Oppenheimer set! Including Nolan for best director and for best score as well! Even best drama! Because creating, dropping an atom bomb is mighty dramatic! The film deserves to sweep in all awards category! It's an outstanding film! And could very well be the best film so far in this decade!

Noah - A Film That Gets Flooded By Biased Beliefs (The Worse Biblical Adaptation On Film Ever)
24 March 2022
Russel Crowe as Noah had all the potential in becoming Triumph! On par with Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments or Jim Cavizel as Jesus in The Passion of Christ. Russel had a chance to label himself, amongst the religious experience world, amongst the span of Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc.

Russel Crowe gives a great performance as he always does, but due to biased/atheistic beliefs in directing, Noah is turned into a TRAGEDY.

With a mixture of Biblical accuracy, meets Lord of The Rings The Two Towers, the trees help build the ark and protect Noah. A mere slap to the face to religions worldwide!

Truly BLASPHEMOUS. Basically making fun of the worldwide belief of The Bible. If the director of this film wanted to focus on history, then add FACTS. Noah is worst than EXODUS, which on a cinema caliber, was a FANTASTIC film. The sound/scenes/GRANDEUR of the film was STUNNING! But? Where EXODUS fails is when just like Noah, is directed with biased/atheistic beliefs.

Anyways besides for Russel Crowes strong performance as Noah. Anthony Hopkins plays a likeable Methuselah. Overall that's really all I have to say about this film. Definitely this is the worse Biblical adapted film ever and maybe even the worse film ever!

Mel Gibson's Thriller!
23 March 2022
Signs is a thought provoking, suspenseful thriller! Mel Gibson's gives a great performance as Hamilton! So does Joaquin Phoenix as Meril, Culkin as Morgan and Abligal as Bo. It is one of the best horror films of the decade! With a twisting/physiological spin at the end. It's more of a religious experience, rather than an alien experience, with signs being shown throughout the film, the end will make your arm hair standup! It is a beautiful piece of work. From the same director that brought Six Senses, He directs another Classic!

Nacho Libre (2006)

It's About A Religious, Mexican, Monk, and His Nucleus.
23 March 2022
Welcome to Nacho Libre. He's not a chip. He's just an overweight, Mexican, monk that doesn't believe in Science. Nacho does more than the average church goer. He devotes his time to feeding orphans, while serving the church and wrestles privately, under his ring name. Nacho suits up, in his wrestling stretchy pants and fights for the cause. No more of foods that causes diarrheas since Easters, but foods that are good for nourishment for orphans. No more of burnt breads, eaten off of floors, but freshly baked breads, from fresh loaves. Yes. Nacho is providing the lifestyle of the rich and famous, eating corn on the cobs and dressing in pricey boots and wearing dress pants that causes wedgies and underneath his wedgie is his nucleus.

Alongside Nacho is his friend Steven and together, they fight bad guy wrestlers and become Nacho N Cheese "Not literally in the film" haha.

Nacho and Steven are struggling Luchas/Wrestlers. Nacho is too fat, while Steven just believes in science. They both get desperate to win and Nacho eats from an egg on top of a mountain, believing to give eagle powers. But symbolic to the forbidden fruit, it's deception. Nacho soon finds his real power comes from within him, all along, which is the strength of courage.

Anyways Jack Black gives his best comedy performance in the film and Hector playing Steven is just as funny!

Overall the film is thoughtful. It does well with its inspiring note on a call to action! In a discrete way. Its rather thought provoking or food for thought. The film is one that many churches can learn by. Nacho is a doer, not a taker.

Anyways Nacho Libre is Religious/Family/Fun. For the whole family!

A Fair Farewell.
23 March 2022
The Hobbit 3 Battle of The Five Armies. Did not live up to the hype to the war, but lives up to being a fair farewell to a Classic which is The Hobbit Trilogy. Despite Peter Jackson's adaptation of the battle, was a total MESS of CGI ruins! The battle itself, just makes you cringe. Following somewhat of George Lucas with his adaptation of CGI clones in The Star Wars prequels. Peter Jackson's fails in his adaptation of the final war with morbid CGI effects. Where he was GREATLY successful with adapting wars on the big screen, from Lord of The Rings The Two Towers or Lord of The Rings The Return of The King. Peter Jackson created some of the greatest war scenes ever in films! But with The Battle of The Five Armies was TRAGIC! But there is a plus? The battle between Thorin vs Azog was a great battle! Peters Jackson's adaptation of CGI in Hobbit 1,2 was good. Except for the 3rd installment. The CGI Battle of The Five Armies war was like an installed toilet, for the trilogy.

But overall it takes manure to make fertilizer.

The Hobbit 3 is overall an entertaining film and should I say classic? Anyways Luke Evans as Bard really comes through in this film, as a man of heroics! A feel of how Aragorn came through in The Lord of The Rings. As for The Great and Terrible SMAUG. The long year wait to see SMAUG destroy Laketown, comes to a very fast halt, with his sudden death. Yet. SMAUG played a key role in this film and within minutes, he is dead. So much for the layover from the 2nd, to the 3rd. The long wait. Then pfff he is outta here!

Anyways. It was an entertaining scene. Really the best part of the film is when Bart kills the dragon.

Overall The Hobbit 3 is an entertaining film. The Hobbit Trilogy concludes into being a Classic! A fair farewell.

SMAUG Steals The Show! The Great and Terrible!
23 March 2022
From adventures into confusing woods, to meeting with a gigantic/bear-like man, to Laketown, to the lonely Mountain, The Hobbit 2 is fast paced, and perhaps the fastest pace film of all Peter Jackson's adapted J. R. Tolkien films. The best moment of the film arrives when Bilbo enters into the lonely Mountain, to retrieve the King's Jewel, there he is met with the great/treacherous SMAUG. A highlight in the film!

Overall The Hobbit 2 is an entertaining film! And again a Peter Jackson Classic!

EXODUS - GRAND/TRIUMPH/But Fails To Inspire.
22 March 2022
What to expect from an atheist like Ridley Scott? Ridley Scott is an atheist/yet a curious George of a fellow, that doubts the belief of The Bible. Yet finds himself intrigued by its stories. EXODUS has all the potential in becoming a Legendary film, with GRAND Cinematics/GRAND scenery. Ridley Scott is The BEST at CGI. From The Gladiator to EXODUS. Ridley Scott creates Masterpieces with his style of work on CGI films. Where EXODUS fails is the direction of Moses and the storyline of Biblical accuracy. Ridley Scott portrays Moses, as basically a non influential leader, not even the lizards or serpents would follow in the desert. Ridley Scott's portrayal of Moses is a bit crazy and delusional. NOT anywhere Biblically accurate. From perspective of scholars/Egyptian history/Biblical history/Judaism/Islam and so many others, Moses is one of The Greatest leaders ever!

With Christian Bale portraying Moses. EXODUS had much potential, yet Scott is to blamed. He let's his atheistic biased beliefs, take the wheel. Now Christian Bale, would had NEVER reached the scale of Charlton Heston though as Moses. Edgerton as Ramses seems to have more of a foot in the door, in being a standout character in this film. As he portrays Ramses well, but of course not as great as Yuhl Bryner as Ramses in The 1956 Ten Commandments.

Yet overall from a cinema point of view.

EXODUS is FLAWLESS/GRAND/TRIUMPH.

From the plaques, to hail falling down on Ramses, the scenes are FANTASTIC! Even Egypt is GRAND in CGI BEAUTY! Yet as for The Ten Commandments film, natural is better of course. The Director of The Ten Commandments created an authentic set, in the midst of Egypt, in GRAND style!

Yet. Ridley Scott's projection of Egypt/The Biblical story of EXODUS is a MASTERPIECE of a film! But? Fails to lead in becoming an influence for religions worldwide.

Tim Burton's Bloody Mess
22 March 2022
Worse Tim Burton movie ever or worse movie ever!? The film is a bloody mess! It has all the potential in being one of the best Tim Burton films ever. But? Tim Burton turns a serious film, into a Camelot styled Gothic project.

On script it sounds great. Especially with Johnny Depp playing Sweeney Todd. But oftentimes it's quite cringe to watch. There's just too much music and not enough acting, to make it a serious film.

Of course with all the blood and gore, this is a serious film, but it didn't need 90% of the film being a darn musical. I like musical films such as Camelot played by Richard Harrison. But? This film could had been at least 75% of acting and then 25% of music. But we all know Tim Burton's love for music in films. Often Burton's music in films as classic! The sounds of his Batman films, for example.

But? This film is just dominated with too much musical points, as it is drowned with too much bloody music. The storyline had a great plotline in becoming even one of the best horror films ever made, spun from a tale of a cruel barber that was cutting people up as meat in 1700s France. Yet. Tim Burton like he done with Charlie and Chocolate Factory, turned what could had been a Classic, into a forgettable film.

Don't get me wrong. Charlie and the chocolate factory is entertaining, but it's not inspiring/it's a forgettable film and so is this film. The only thing that is remembered about this film is that it's a bloody mess, don't eat anything red or meaty, while watching it haha.

The Birthmark of Fantasy Films! The GREATEST Movie Ever Made? Follow The Yellow Brick Road and See!
22 March 2022
From over the rainbow, to a house falling on a witch, The Wizard of Oz was at first viewed by MGM to be a failed project of a film, due to many events delaying its process. OH BOY! They were WRONG! With the director pushing the film to continue its process, due to his daughter wanted to see The Wizard of Oz adapted on the big screen, as it first was a book. So the director pushed for its progress and it would change cinema and Hollywood!

From the glamour/whimsical/beauty of the scenes, to the twister, in my opinion the most realistic tornado ever in films and guess what? It was done with a cloth! Go figure! Before the age of computer/CGI effects. Directors would find their own way of making things as REALISTIC as it can be and OH BOY! What a WONDER! While watching Dorothy run and the others. It feels like you're watching a real/deal tornado in the process. As a kid, I even wondered if they had filmed during the process of a real tornado, in the background? Haha.

Anyways. Not only this. But the witches castle and when the monkeys are flying are so INCREDIBLE again for its time, The Wizard of Oz was defying gravity and possibilities. That's what makes it STANDOUT even nearly 75+ years later and let's not forget the beautiful/artwork of the scenes, which was filmed on an artistic backdrop on a stage. All the time Hollywood could save money, if only they went back to the original stages, for films. CGI can either be a win or a mess. I think from a CGI perspective, The Gladiator is maybe THE BEST CGI film ever made. Ridley Scott made a MASTERPIECE, with that film. But OH BOY!

Peter Jackson's adaptation to The Hobbit 3 was a MESS! The CGI when the war occurs was TRAGIC!

Anyways. To conclusion what time and money Hollywood could save if only they went back to the original platform of stages. The Wizard of Oz, no doubt is The GREATEST staged play/fantasy film EVER!

With Garland playing Dorothy as sweet and cute as she can. One of the greatest female performances ever in movies and The BIRTHMARK of villains with Margaret Hamilton playing the wicked witch of the west. Margaret gives it her ALL! Creating a revolution for villains in films! Without Margaret playing the wicked witch of the west, would there even be a Darth Vader or a Joker? Let alone. Without The Wizard of Oz would there even be the lure of fantasy films such as Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, The Dark Knight, you name it.

The Wizard of Oz laid out and smoothed a yellow brick road for ALL fantasy films! PERIOD!

A TRIUMPH, MASTERPIECE! The GREATEST Trilogy Ever Made? A Farewell Into The Crystal Sea.
22 March 2022
Peter Jackson's ending to The Lord of The Rings. Is the most perfect ending to any trilogy ever in Hollywood history! From the first, second, third installment, every film packed a PERFECT 10 star rating!

Acting/scenes/sounds/action/EVERYTHING. A complete upwards to 10 hours of complete PERFECTION and ART! In all of the trilogy.

LOTR The Return of The King is a TRIUMPH, MASTERPIECE! With actors like Vingo Mortenson as Aragorn giving a standout performance! While Sean Astin as Sam. Is the true hero in this film as well! So much of the credit goes to Frodo. Yet? Sam is the true, brave, hobbit with his heroics, filled with courage, Sean Astin delivers an emotional performance and so does all actors on the lineup!

Legolas riding the backs of elephants. To Gimili smashing heads with his axe. To Gandalf riding a white horse, clothe in full white, even with Merry and Pippen as dark horses in the race, proving to be important roles in the major events of middle Earth.

LOTR The Return of The King is a SMASHING HIT! With an emotional, victory in the end!

A emotional, thrill ride from start to finish!

FOR FRODO!

A Masterful Encore
22 March 2022
Who says that a film can't do just as good or better as a sequel? So goes the tale, that a standalone film is best. Yet? Few films, trilogies prove otherwise and that's exactly what Peter Jackson proves! Creating another Masterpiece, with the sequel to the first installment of The Lord of The Rings. LOTR The Two Towers is a Masterpiece from acting/scenes/sound and especially war! The war scenes are a SHOWCASE of SPECTACLE/TRIUMPH. Some of the best war scenes ever in Hollywood. PERIOD! And in this sequel. We're presented with Gollum. A standout character, that holds a significance/importance in the film.

Andy Serkis as Gollum is the standout performance in this sequel and another great performance from Ian Mckellen as Gandalf and not to forget the great lineup of actors from Viggo Morteson as Aragorn to Orlando Bloom as Legolas. Everyone plays their role to perfection!

The Lord of The Rings The Two Towers is a TRUMPH, MASTERPIECE! Hollywood directors should take notes from Peter Jackson's art/adaptation of J. R. Tolkiens books.

Adventure Awaits
22 March 2022
From an unexpected guest, to an unexpected party, The Hobbit runs to becoming an expected classic! From the comforts of the shire, Bilbo has never left his roots. Until one day an unexpected guest arrives "Gandalf" offering a once in a lifetime adventure!

Bilbo eventually accepts that invitation and goes on an adventure of a lifetime! From going to Rivendale to running into monstrous trolls, to meeting his faint with the ring of power and meeting a riddler named Gollum.

Bilbo is on the way to the lonely Mountain, to help to take back the home for the dwarves in company and take back the king's jewel!

Martin Freeman as Bilbo is the best performance in the film and of course as always a great performance from Ian Mckellen as Gandalf.

The Hobbit film suits more toward kids, more than The Lord of The Rings, fitting more toward adults. Yet The Hobbit is a charming, whimsical film and a Classic!

The Rock N Scorpion King
22 March 2022
The Scorpion King is a packed film!

From war, sex, heavy rock, this film has everything! The Rock as The Scorpion King, is the best choice for ancient Egypt role since Yuhl Bryner played Ramses in The Ten Commandments in 1956. The Rock is built for the role! The film from start to finish, is a rocking, spectacle, from cheesy scenes, to wwe style scenes, to spicy/heat scenes, to funny scenes, the theatrics of The Scorpion King, is everything. With that said. The acting also is great, from each actor!

The film only lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Yet the film proves that a film doesn't have to be 3 hours to make it a spectacle. Yet. I do believe a 3 hour length film, gives more importance/stretch time, in building up the drama/direction/storyline for a film. But The Scorpion King gets away with it and packs everything in just 1 hour and 30 minutes! That's the length of a Disney Animation. Yet this film is darn entertaining from start to finish in its time length!

This is The Rock's best film. No doubt and still today wwe productions best film. Highly underated. One of the best films of the decade for its time. To those that critic negativity toward this film, in the words of The Rock. "Know your role and shut your mouth" haha just joking. Critic however you like. That's the freedom of being a critic.

Just know that this film isn't meant to be like The Mummy films. It's a standalone film. That's what makes the scorpion sting soo sweet!

The film is storyline spinning, piece of art!

Stephen King/Johnny Depp in script, is a perfect match! The film keeps you on edge from start to finish, until the ultimate plot twist!
