Bird People (2014)

Surprising
5 August 2015
I discovered this film by chance and when I watched the trailer I imagined a film about a man who is disenchanted with life, who feels a vague emptiness and leaves it all behind and forms an unusual connection, quasi-romance with the maid whom is a dreamer and a man whose dreams and love for life long ago died. Akin to Lost in Translation.

This is not the case! The film is nothing like what one imagines and does in fact involve bird people; although I will not spoil it. It is hard to rate Bird People as it does not fall in line with a traditional film. It does not fall under any genre; although it would be easy to see it as a observation of the ills of "modern" life; modernity and technology in the film fulfills the background not focus.

It is a surprising movie and one that will leave an impression on you. I highly recommend it!.

Blade Runner (1982)

The first Phillip k. dick movie
21 January 2003
Blade Runner is a very good film, a classic upon science fiction movies. The movie can be a bit boring at times, but it leaves you wondering at the end. Its important that you pay attention throught out the film. You should watch the Director's cut and not the orginial release. The director's cut dosent have the voice over effect and it has some additonal scenes and an alternate ending.

Heat (1995)

The best heist movie ever
19 December 2002
Heat stars Al pacino and Robert Denero in a heist movie. This movie has the two most talented actors at odds against each other. The movie never has a dull moment, the bank scence is one of the best and most realistic actions scences. Suprisling Val kilmer does a god job acting. The ending is a bit disapponting..............

Better than Goodfellas
18 December 2002
This is film more complex than Goodfellas. Most people think goodfellas is better than this film, and that casion is just trying to be like goodfellas. Thats not true this film is better than goodfellas. It has a better plot and better acting. Joe pesci is the same crazy homocidal manic like in goodfellas. DeNero plays a casino manager. His wife Stone, is a drugged out crazy mother. The films plays out the upfall and downfall of the casino. A very good film, a must buy.

Goodfellas (1990)

Good but not as good as Casino
18 December 2002
Goodfellas was really good film, with excellent acting by Ray Loita and Joe pesci. With DeNiro pitching around the corners. Joe pesci was espically cool with his "anger problems" and mentally disturbed state of mind. The movie has some dark comical moments, very funny. A must see..

Better than the godfather
18 December 2002
Once upon a time in america, is simply the greatest film ever directed and conceived. The camera angels and shots and blah blah. Are simply brillant. The whole film comes together throught different time periods and locations. Your never really sure what is going on towards the end. The film doesnt simply tell you whats happening, you must figure it out yourself. The acting is brillant, perhaps one of Robert Deniro's best roles. The long version is much better than the edited version.......
