Great Scores

A list of the best scores from movies and tv shows, imo. Some movies and shows aren´t good at all, sometimes it´s just the score the only thing worth it. This are only the ones that I´ve listened to carefully. Maybe there are a WHOLE bunch of others great scores that I would love but till now I haven´t listen to them so they are not here. However, I hope that with this list I organize myself and could extract from this a list of my favorite composers.
Screewriters with 3 or more films that I like

I LOVE screenwriting. I think it´s the essence to a good film because it is most likely that within the screenplay the story & the magic of characters, emotions & creativity gets created.
I´m not saying screenwriters are the only thing important to a film´s quality; I do think actors, directors, composers, dps & everybody else who works in the making of a film can make it great or even with a bad screenplay the movie can end up being awesome...
What I´m saying is that I think all of them (everyone who isn´t involved with the screenwriting) try their best to enhance & improve over the story to make the magic of storytelling come true but for them to do that there´s got to be some starting point... and what better place to look for that starting point that in the screenplays or more predictable the screenwriters.
I also make this list because they´re not really recognized by they work; I mean, to the general public what is more known are actors & actresses, then directors, after that probably composers & producers or their companies... screenwriters are so ignored that is actually rare to see some that´ve worked in more than 5 movies & that keep writing more to be produced. Most movies have one screenwriter that never writes another screenplay... or at least not one that gets turn in a movie.

My Taste on Tv Shows

This list is of, mostly, series or tv shows that follow a narrative. This means that the episodes and seasons have to be watched in sequential order and is common that these shows have a "previously on" at the beggining of each episode.
I avoid the episodic or "case of the week" format because they lack continuity and therefore the show can be seen without order due to having stand-alone episodes. However, I may include a few shows with stand-alone episodes throughout its seasons on the condition that the premise of the show is really creative, interesting and that the storyline does develop in an accumulative manner.
With this in mind, most of these shows are not really character based but insted are heavy on plot. If the series sets up questions they have to give compelling answers. The genres will mostly be action, horror, mystery, crime, drama, sci-fi, fantasy or thriller. In a few words, series with a serious tone or delicated subjects. No musicals, no satires, no reality shows, no comedies, unless they have a lot of world building, major narrative threads in each episodes or overarching plots throughout parts of their seasons.
Also, I tried to include cancelled or finished series, miniseries or tv shows with the fewest amount of seasons. I avoid series currently on development or long running series that are constantly renewed. In short, tv shows that are manegable to binge watch and/or that are going somewhere with their storyline. Most of these shows give resolution or closure to the viewer by the end of watching them. These series deliver on what they promised or, at least, they attempt to do it in a satisfactory way.
This list avoids shows that just tease or that stretch the story for views. Also, series that seem they don´t know where to go with their plots or that just throw away their set up and forget about what was appealing from them to begin with.
I´ve seen a few of these shows but most of them I haven´t; therefore they are here because I´m interest in watching them. The ones I´ve seen I recommend them, without including spoilers, since I think they are quality storytelling. In a few cases I just found them enjoyable or leaving me with a good feeling even though the narrative may had not been all that great.

NEVER AGAIN I´m watching these Directors!!

I HATE the movies from these directos/screenwriters and I´ve seen more than half, if not nearly all, of their entire filmography. I think it´s enough time wasted so I keep this list as a reminder of which names to avoid in the future. I´m DONE with the majority of the names. When I mean DONE is done. I will not see any new movies nor any other of their filmography which I haven´t seen thus far.
Some exceptions are the directors/screenwriters of whom I still have a few movies on the watchlist. 2 movies per name tops. After watching those then NEVER seeing ANYTHING made by them.
The first few are those with movies still pending, then the rest.

Tv Shows to Watch

These are the kinds of stories I´m interested in, due to their tone, style, look, premise, genre or any other aspect. The list mixes tv shows that I´ve watch and those that I haven´t. From the ones I´ve watch it includes the ones that I actually liked or loved and even the ones that I found disappointing, barely watchable or just, plain and simply, a waste of time.
The point of the list is just to help me find some tv show to watch and really enjoy. To do that I just group together any possible option and let´s see what happens.
