The Sopranos (1999–2007)
10/10
TV Shows greatest ever
8 February 2024
I finally managed to binge watch The Sopranos for the first time and that in less than 3 weeks. Now I can see why so many people consider this as the best show ever. To think this show aired in 99 and made it to 6 seasons is a blessing. Showrunners, Directors & Producers had the trust and time to develop something special here. The show was way ahead of its time and I don't think it has a chance for today's terrible streaming age if it didn't click in the first season. I'm glad this show made it all through and ended the best way on a high note.

Realism & Authenticity

Mobsters, monitor units, business, relationships, violence, trust issues, cultural aspects and psychological issues are key words for this show.

Gandolfini was the perfect cast for Tony Soprano. He embodied that character from head to toe. All his mental diseases and stress that affects his life and the life of his family specially his kids how they grow up and take all the emotional feelings and circumstances is a huge factor.

There is not one scene over the top. They kept it convincible and.comprehensible. The dynamic between so many actors and their characters were insanely good. Most characters had great character development and finished their arcs in the best possible way. The story was written impressively good and the pacing was decent and not boring or rushed. I will watch this show again in a couple of years. I'm grateful to witness this by chance.

The Sopranos: Pine Barrens (2001)
Season 3, Episode 11

My favorite episode of the entire show
8 February 2024
Adventurous, Hilarious & Cinematographic.

Steve Buscemi directed the most entertaining episode of the show in my opinion.

The dialogue between Chris & Paulie is so funny that it takes your entire attention. Some of the best scenes like the charming and hilarious reaction of Tony to Bobby's forest suit up. I cracked up so hard on that scene. Uncle Junior's face added more laughter. I will forever remember this wonderful episode.

The near death experience of Chris & Paulie by the ice cold weather condition in the beautiful landscape forest was hilarious and serious. Survivor & Anxiety elements were crystalized here loud and clear. I would like to see the behind the scenes of this episode. If there is one.

Prepare for the finale
8 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Bobby was innocent until that moment he whacked on order from Tony. Tony was so mad for getting beaten up by Bobby that he really forced him to lose his clean slate out of anger. Bobby was careless and even lucky not getting caught by feds. While he whacked someone he made some significant mistakes 1: dna by getting scratched by the victim 2: leaving the gun next to the crime scene. Bobby became my favorite character over multiple seasons. He was just a driver and worked hard to get his chance. He was never built for the ugly dangerous side of this business. That kill shocked me right now. I finished that episode for the first time today. I'm speechless I really expected Bobby to end up in jail. Now it's time to watch the finale.

Original Hongkong Cinema
20 January 2024
Felix Chong & Alan Mak wrote one of the best ever gangsta drama thrillers ever. Andrew Lau did an amazing job as the director. This trio did something magical once in a lifetime thing. The Pang brothers with the great camera work here nailed it. It's unbelievably good.

Police V Cartel: The ability to express each side during this intense ride of a plot is so thrilling and powerful. From wires, moles, surveillance to every decision is so freaking authentic.

Tony Leung & Andy Lau are two top tier actors literally Legends by then and still highly likeable actors. Every time they hit the screen is a nice watch for the audience specially when they interact with each other the dialogues between them each on their own with their problems and struggles in life and job is a top clash for big cinema.

I love the plot, stunts, music, actors and camera work. I recommend this to every one who loves crime movies with authentic and more realistic plots. It's a hunt story full of twists and turns. I recommend this more to people who hasn't watched The Departed which unsurprisingly due to Scorsese is a fantastic remake but the original shines more in many aspects from its environment and origin stories and the fact they had less budget. The less money the more creative people are forced to make it.

At last I can watch Brendan's comeback
21 December 2023
Brendan's Comeback !! I was thirsty to watch it last year but unfortunately it came out this year overseas. I'm blown away by the great act and how convincing Brendan Fraser played his character Charlie. A sad drama which sends a realistic message to the audience for society. I'm happy he's won that Oscar for that role even before that award I was desperate to watch this movie. I always had a nice hand for picking the right movies. There are scenes and dialogues that literally put me to bed and made me silence. Unbelievable how they managed to build up such a great movie with low budget and it's really almost 95% of the movie takes place in one room. I had dinner theater vibes while watching it but on extremely high class.

Hong Chau should've won an Oscar too. Her performance was overwhelming and heart wrenching. She was perfect for that role of a working class nurse that is literally the last real friend and person that took care of Charlie.

Sadie Silk's daughter-father relationship was spot on tearing me apart. I felt that energy of grief and rage towards her father for leaving her when she was so little. She played her role as a teenager daughter with raw brilliance. She's definitely got a heart to help people but in a different way. She has her issues and struggles too. Sadie Silk's got a brighter future that's for sure !

A Christmas movie for kids
21 December 2023
I like the conecept of its animation it gave straight Timmy Turner vibes, but what didn't spark was that home alone feeling for me. For the first half of the movie I find the main character in Damian pretty annoying. I mean it could be cause I'm an adult, but kids familiar with light Batman memories could actually find it funny. It's an average Christmas animation. I think they could've done better given more time. The story was very flat and predictable. Nonetheless I have to give credits for paying tribute to the fantastic rogue gallery of villains. Even though I think they disrupted some characters original by making them goofy to an eight year old kid. If you don't take it serious enough and consider the fact they are all old and past their prime. All in all I see families with their kids watching it isn't it, but kids alone together sure why not.

Past Lives (2023)

emotive, oneself and heart wrenching
16 December 2023
At the end of the year I found the time to watch this movie. One, that I bought on blu ray without watching a trailer or any recommendation just based by my feeling that I always got a great pick and taste for movies. I was spoiled by the age rating ( zero ) which told me this movie has no curse, violent or sexual content. Which didn't bother me, but I was just surprised by it. Story left me sad and sensitive. I will think about this movie for days and reflect things on my own life. I'm glad it's no cliche over dramatic love story. It's authentic and written precisely. There come time when there's less to no dialogue, but right there the camera is working magically. Shabier Kirchner captured some superb shots which gave me access to explore more the mood of the characters how they feel at that moment and what is actually going on in their deepest mind. There are no rude scenes, no over the top Hollywood moves and it's great cause otherwise it would've harmed the plot. I also like how they connect into great transition the time skips from kid to student and adult. Works fluently without any rush. The pacing is well balanced.

Teo Yoo as Hae Sung

Teo Yoo is a fabulous actor the moment he spoke englisch ( in my country german cause I had audio in german ) he spoke like a foreigner, but it was the same voice when he spoke korean. Which tells me he speaks german and definitely fluently since he was born there ( I researched that ). That was such a cool detail for me. His character Hae Sung is the casual kid who grew up made his army service, goes to college and works. Nothing unexpected or surprising. He's very smart and handsome but also vulnerable and sad deep inside that it almost cracks me up every time he talks Seung Ah. All the time I was feeling so bad for him cause he deserves luck and love in life.

Greta Lee as Seung Ah / Nora

Ambitious, striving for more and still missing her old life and identity as a kid, but she accepts that she has to move on since she's now in New York and adapts to its life. She assimilates pretty well into new life, but there come moments when she has her what if thoughts and it just shatters me as a viewer cause it is definitely no a walk in the park to assimilate into a different culture and new country so far away from home. I don't want to take away much, but towards the end the scene almost crushed my heart. That was a stunning cinematic experience.

Celine Song - written and directed

I will look up to more works of her. She has done an excellent job here. Authentic story telling, great setting, super cast and a great team around her.

If you like movies like 500 Days of Summer which is also a great rom drama then you'll adore this one as well. Can't recommend this movie to teenagers or even younger audience. I think adults with more life experience and sense for these low budget grounded stories have more empathy and compassion to go through. I give this movie a 10/10 I can't find any flaws or disturbing things to rate it lower.

Unpopular Chan Movie
27 November 2023
Unpopular & Underrated Jackie Chan movie. This film has a raw and serious tone. No slapstick comedy. The story shares a similar plot as Internal Affairs or its remake The Departed. The action & stunts were pretty cool to watch. I really don't like when Jackie fires shots, I rather see him fighting with his body than using a gun. What caught me off guard was the story. I know a lot of movies with terrible plot, but impressive martial arts scenes. This right here has an exciting story. His antagonist is really terrifying and keeps up the anticipation for conclusion. One of the movies I haven't watched as a kid but for the first time today. I advise every Jackie Chan fan give it a watch you won't regret it. What I don't stand is the music here it feels so uncomfortable outta place like hell it would've been better to direct this movie with less music or a different kind of film music. The score interrupts many scenes in my opinion. Chan's character is serious, in psychological treatment cause he shot someone down while serving. I give this movie as a highly Chan fan 7/10.

Makoto Shinkai knows how to create magical movies
26 November 2023
I'm blown away by the movie like WOW what a beautiful movie. From its impressive I mean literally top notch animation to its detail in like how to hid details behind a door and what item is used as a door to the other side. That's brilliant and works fluently into the animation. The color transition is also made greatly.

The story is adventurous and more than just a rom action drama. I get that fairy tale story feeling which growths more through the movie. I feel connected to the protagonist, but less impressed to the supporting role who's the guardian and has the mission to protect the keys or stones. He's religious, tall and a serious little over dramatic character. I really liked him when he was turned into a chair. He was way more hilarious and actually entertaining. The main characters aunt and the friend of the guardian guy are also nice additions to the movie. We learn more about these persons and their goals in life. The only thing that didn't move me was the final third. I mean the clash of the worm it was way predictable and kinda boring and unnecessary. Overall the the movie and the conclusion to end its story was fantastic and it equalized the clash versus the worm for me.

The best part of the movie is the fact how Makoto again manages to put real life events like an earthquake into something mystic like it's connected to the fairy story. He always brings up natural disasters and effected peoples reaction to it perfectly. I mean seriously people need to appreciate these little things and acknowledge them before they become forgotten.

Your Name. (2016)
10/10
Makoto Shinkai's masterpiece
19 November 2023
This was my first anime rom drama movie. I was looking forward to watch this movie for a long time. The animation is incredible and drawn beautifully. I like the simple character looks it fits the world perfectly. We dive deep into an amazing creative idea. Mitsuha is girl who lives outside the city in a village town. One day she wakes up as Taki a male student from Tokyo and Taki simultaneously becomes Mitsuha. Both are in full shock and want to understand while trying to live and make the best off it. From here it's still unclear what made caused the change of body. If you continue the movie you'll find out and it really shatters the viewer. Your Name the title has a special meaning to the well written story of the movie. Enjoy the story like I did. Tremendous plot twist, good written characters and fabulous art work combined in a movie like no other.

Sublime love drama movie
31 October 2023
Back in 2011 when Marc Webb was announced as the director for Amazing Spider-Man I always read about his movie 500 days of Summer. I was too young to watch now realizing it when I watched the movie yesterday. It's a well written story and unpredictable at times. I recommend this movie to adults since teenagers may not feel the movie the way an adult with experience and emotions could feel. It's amazing I learned so much about myself when I finished the movie. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was a fabulous straight A cast for the role of Tom Hansen. Zooey Deschanel's look and body language was flashing. They both had a great chemistry on set. A movie you should check up at least for once.

This is it the best movie of 2023 I've been waiting for a decade !
22 October 2023
This movie was incredibly well written and directed on a level I couldn't see many directors handle it to keep the pace and balance over a length of 3 1/2 hours. This movie needed that time to tell its story. I always admired native Americans for their tradition, craftsmanship, water economy, agriculture & leechcraft. Osage story wasn't popular in the part of the world where I live. I was shocked that this story felt untold even though it was written and published in a book. It seemed like United States of America rather ignored the past. There are so many unsolved and untold horrible events about indigenous people. I'm happy from the bottom of my heart that one of the best directors of all time made this movie with a top notch roster of actors.

Killers of the Flower Moon is a movie that focuses with deep betrayal, greed, grieve and psychotic trust issues. These crimes to the Osage tribe is unforgivable. The way how they expose the sinister side of the white people towards the Osage tribe was vicious & shocking for me as a viewer. The way these people only show fake love and trust to get to their goal= money from the crude oil makes you rethink and lose all hope in humanity. Kudos to Scorsese and his team for impressive research and having Osage people as creative minds on set. So we can guarantee things in the movie don't feel set up to make the white man look good or the Osage Women look different. Thank you Scorsese for not making this as an FBI perspective movie. He held it real and told the story original and detailed.

DiCaprio, De Niro, Gladstone, Plemons and so many more fabulous actors did an amazing job.

For me honestly this can become my all time favorite movie. I love true crime stories written well like Memories of Murder or Zodiac. The values, the personality, the message, the power & historical context is expressed clear and detailed. Killers of the Flower Moon is a 10/10.

Tremendous start
8 October 2023
Time went fast while enjoying this brand new episode. A fantastic way to kick off the new season. It starts right were it ended two years ago. Tom & Owen chemistry is addictive. My God, I could watch at them for hours and still feel entertained. Finally I have a good feeling and more faith again into marvel studios. I really didn't like the previous series and latest movies ( besides Guardian ). Loki will drive us through the multiverse saga to the upcoming events. Ke Huy Quan deserves flowers man I'm enjoying this guy so much. He's finally getting these kinda roles. He absolutely won all hearts at his debut. I have a feeling that his character will play a big role through the season. Ever since Hawkeye I'm really excited for the next episode.

Hidden Strike (2023)

Hilarious action movie
6 September 2023
I find some reviews too harsh. I can see there's a terrible script and slow burn start. To rate it 1 star or even 2 is all over the place. This movie throws me back to tv times. It felt like I was watching a movie after school at home. I adore Jackie Chan for doing his stunts STILL. Me & my mother we enjoyed the comedy in the movie. I find John Cena & Jackie Chan pretty good together. They should do more movies together. The action sequences were decent and specially the one with soap bubbles was creative and nice to watch. Credits to John Cena he came a long way to play next to Jackie Chan. At the beginning I was skeptical whether he fits in this role. He changed my mind when he performed with Chan at that moment I knew they can carry away a horrible script. I tell you if John Cena & Jackie Chan stars in a better written movie they'll surprise everyone. I give this movie a 6/10 cause I enjoyed the movie after a long day with my mother. We laughed and appreciated the action.

Average movie, over dramatic & horrendous script
8 August 2023
Thank God I didn't went to the cinema back then. I saw this movie on Prime recently. This is one of the worst scripts I've seen. I can see why Scorsese passed the chance to direct this mess of a movie. The authors drove that screenplay through the wall. Ridley Scott's ability to direct is not identifiable. He should never ever direct a movie of this size again. The cast is chaotic and some actors feel like they're out of place. Lady Gaga was terrible. Her acting was bad and the accent was shady. Her character has like zero development and her chemistry with Adam Driver isn't their. Adam Driver should've never took this role. He's such a great actor. Even for his standards he couldn't shine and convince me at all.

The plot is rushed and events take place in a chaotic short cut. Time jumps makes you feel like they cut and rewrote many scenes.

Only positive aspects for me:

Al Pacino & Jared Leto. They were hilarious, authentic and shared best scenes together. From all actors they were the ones that tried.

Actual event I wasn't aware of the actual story behind this movie. If only they did a proper job.

Gucci Branding:

Well the advertising aspect comes to mind but to be fair a movie like Air did an amazing job besides advertising for its brand unavoidable. Every time they name dropped Gucci when they talked about company it felt so awkward.

Oppenheimer (I) (2023)
10/10
A Film for the big screen
27 July 2023
From the top tier cast to the cinematography this movie is a masterpiece. The source of historical events of Los Alamos, project Manhattan is recreated in fantastic detail. What I like the most is the fact it's no CGI. Absolute Boss production here with the IMAX camera x special effects. You don't wanna miss out on that movie. Color range with black & white expresses the objective perception and colorful the subjective perspective from Oppenheimer. I'm convinced that I probably missed even more hidden details.

Cilian Murphy deserve this spot where he is right now. He's one of the best actors in the world. His best work ever. I can't single out every other actors work here the list wouldn't stop.

The score of the movie was produced by Ludwig Göransson. He did an amazing job as usual in his previous work.

There come scenes when you spot an actor you were not aware of being here and that's so awesome the way this movie mastered the difficulty of not wasting an actors skill set.

Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors of all time. His way of making movies is unique.

A brand new level, a milestone in Animation !
2 June 2023
I went to the premier with high expectations and came back happy with a drill of anticipation for continuation. This film sets completely new standards from which every studio can learn something.

Film

At the beginning we dive into Gwen's world and shockingly you realize in disbelief how the animation has developed after 5 years. The graphics, transitions, transition of specific colors, the movement of the characters, facial expressions and the atmosphere is unbelievably good. I mean the first movie already made you feel you go through a comic, but Across The Spider-Verse is the next level of animation. With approximately 150.000.000$ budget the result is impressive and totally worth it. I loved every bit of it and no 140 minutes didn't fell too long. When the film was over I was like go on do another 2 hours I WANT MORE OF THIS. Huge respect to Chris Miller & Phil Lord and the entire crew for making this possible.

The plot no spoiler

It takes place 16 months after the events of the fire movie. Miles Morales is Spider-Man and has to deal with the daily businesses. He struggles to keep his relationship with his parents, always comes late and has little to no time. One day he faces The Spot a new villain and from there I leave you out without spoilers. The Spot fits in this topic and movie so good. He was the right choice. His design is crazy and his motives are so well written.

Multiverse

I have to say Across The Spider-Verse did catch the Multiverse topic perfectly. MCU needs to note so many things here. It's actually insane how great they showed the possibilities, diversities and complexities of it. For me, they surpassed No Way Home in terms of Multiverse. Of course Animation is a different tool, but still the story telling and how they made you feel like this movie is not only for kids it's actually more complex and for fans and more like for everyone. The concept of that was nailed perfect. You really do not feel twisted or lost like in several MCU Multiverse projects.

To come to an conclusion I think it's safe to say this movie is gonna win another Oscar and is so far in a great cinema year for me the best movie. Wow, I'm so grateful for this movie. I want to watch it again. Go to the cinema right now. This is a true masterpiece. 10/10 Genre and overall everything was perfect. The voice actors did an amazing job too.

The perfect trilogy in cbm history
15 May 2023
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is for me arguably the best Marvel movie since No Way Home. It's a masterpiece of a movie and a spectacular farewell movie by James Gunn. The way how he build up those amazing characters with so many emotions, depth in character, history and still adds so much more to them is impressive. He leaves Marvel in great memory and gives Marvel Studio the chance to get more out of some aspects and characters for future projects. There is still so much potential and stories to tell to curtain characters like Adam Warlock, Peter Quill, Mantis & Groot.

The movie was insane and absolutely brilliant. We have a villain here like nowhere else, we have background story to a character we always wondered about. CGI was top, music was class as usual, cool costume designs, nice special effects, heartwarming scenes and dramatic scenes. This is the movie that will move all Marvel fans crazy and make them thinking about the movie for long period of time. A remarkable movie !

Air (I) (2023)
8/10
sports film with major cast
15 May 2023
I have to admit I wasn't moved by the trailer of the film, but more surprised about the cast & director. I was like I wait till it's on streaming services just to find out it's actually on prime ! I didn't hesitate and watched it immediately.

Plot

The film tells us the story of the Michael Jordan deal with Nike. With all its aspects contract conditions, competitors, marketing & behind the the curtain of Nike during that time.

Target of the movie

Despite the fact it's a sports Film the movie is obviously aimed on the economic shape of Nike. I can't blame people for downvoting such an movie for accusing them only to promote their brand and for surreptitiously advertising Air Jordan.

Cast

we do have a fabulous cast in the lead with Matt Damon who plays his role so authentic and addictive that you can't get enough off it, a Ben Affleck who I wasn't aware of is in fact the director of the movie. I'm happy for him cause I didn't like him as Batman and still think he can do much better stuff like in Air, Gone Girl and. Good Will Hunting. He also reprised his role as the ceo of Nike in a great relaxed way. Chris Tucker unfortunately has less screen time, but my God his entire presence, his jokes and personality flows fluently into the story. It's so good to see him. The last time was in Rush Hour 3 when I've seen him act. I believe Ben allowed him to be more himself and improvise a lot of stuff Chris did here. Jason Bateman is a actor with a actor who can play in dramas, comedies, romantics or all combined. His chemistry with Matt was dynamic and felt convincing to me. Viola Davis was like how I imagine her to be in real life like a mother who takes care of her son and wants the best for him by protecting him from making failures in life.

Conclusion

You should watch this movie if you're into show industry stuff and interested in the making of branding. If you highly dislike that maybe the cast will convince you to try it and change your mind like magic boom ! I give this movie 8/10 cause they entertained me and of course some scenes felt like it's too Hollywood for me and the advertising stuff is obvious, but that was unavoidable. It's a great sports film and is definitely a great work !

Scream VI (2023)
9/10
Scream is the best horror franchise and this movie proves it !
12 April 2023
Scream VI wow I was worried for them moving the scene into a new place NY, but they delivered like BANG. Scream VI passed the obstacle off not having Sydney in the movie. I find them main characters from V & VI fantastic. Now it does not feel like they're just there to die. They have depth & good stories to tell and makes me root for them even more. The gore & blood in this movie has to be the most savage & craziest. I mean Ghostface was literally running crazy & all attacks were ice cold. I see a great future for more Scream movies. They created so much space for more untold stories and possibilities. What I love about Scream is they keep it real and honor the legacy of the franchise sometimes a bit over the top but not destructive to be like ' they ruined it ' no they really didn't ruined it at all. Jenna Ortega is my favorite actress from the movie. She recently went through the hype of Wednesday and didn't feel like she brought that character into this franchise which speaks for her skills.

The point of Scream is to make the audience have fun and a thrilling night and guess who Ghostface is, it was never about jump scares or disgusting scenes. For me Scream VI is the best movie since the first Scream movie. Overall I can say after the disappointing Scream 3 it for bigger and better. Scream 4 was decent and V was impressive, but VI is top !

Beef (2023– )
10/10
Best one off series in years !!!
12 April 2023
Binge watched the whole series in its debut day. A24 studios is a powerhouse studio for room of creativity & crossing genres into something spectacular. Beef is an incredible drama series. I loved the grounded story from the start. I had a great feeling when the first clip was revealed. There are some crazy exciting characters in the show I had a lot of sympathy for. It gave me the feeling to root for everyone. They managed to strengthen the two main characters so well that you can't tell whose antagonist or protagonist. The series deals a lot with traumas, shattered dreams, cultural aspect which I can relate to, sorrows & regrets. Fabulous cast, spectacular camera working & super pacey plot. Please ignore those rude low ratings, those are haters who definitely didn't watch the series. Turn off your smartphones and watch BEEF you'll enjoy it. I made a story about this series and made a handful of friends watching it because of that. They were all grateful for my recommendation. This show deserves all accolades ! 10/10 no doubt !!!

Still baffled Andrew Garfield didn't win Oscar for this one
16 March 2023
I have a soft spot for musicals specially when they're combined with drama elements. Andrew Garfield has a beautiful voice never in my wildest dreams would I think he could sign. He absolutely delivered, his performance was Oscar worthy. He's had a fantastic year with Spider-Man No Way Home & Tick Tick Boom. Andrew embodies the character Jonathan Larson not only by physiques & style but also in a graceful & passionate way.

Tick Tick Boom is an inspirational biopic musical movie dedicated to the real deceased Jonathan Larson. From its setting, to the camerawork and good cast I can tell it's a movie worth to watch.

Phase 5 kick off with KANG !
17 February 2023
The third movie was totally different than the previous movies. It is definitely more brutal and serious, but still had its moments when I felt familiar with the movie. With that said there were scenes were I was like ' I've seen that somewhere else'. Known cliches and jokes are included. I find them funny. The CGI for the fights and specially for the scenes where Scott multiplies himself multiple times were cool. I'm really not a fan ob having basically too much CGI in a movie, but this movie needs that and I'm convinced, that had they had more budget they'd have done even more into CGI. Although I enjoyed the movie it should've been different cause some scenes felt like they were shorten to fit the screen time which is understandable. The issue is there were too many characters into the plot. I get the message it's more of a family adventurous movie. Hank+Janet+Hope+Scott+Cassie, but just for me Hope felt unnecessary for the plot. Janet was necessary because she already was there and has a secret to tell. I wouldn't rate this movie low or very high. It's a 7/10 for me and a decent introduction for Phase 5.

Paul Rudd's performance is convincing, vividly and charming. I don't remember one movie I didn't enjoy with him. He's Ant-Man. His performance was hilarious and mushy in deep moments.

Two days ago I've went to the local cinema to finally witness Kang The Conquerer in action. Jonathan Majors was brilliant he embodies the character in such an unique way. He can play it off real quick from a soft and sad character into an terrifying dangerous threat. That's some amazing act and needs to be called. I was surprised about the dynamic between Janet & Kang. We get to see a throwback segment and find out more about Kang and Janet's time when she vanished into the quantum level.

Best marvel movie of the year
17 November 2022
A tough movie for the crew to make when you think about the circumstances off the loss of Chadwick Boseman. I'll be honest here it was the least movie from marvel studios I was anticipating for until I saw the trailer then I got a really good feeling. Thor was a disappointment and Dr. Strange struggled due to new writings, but Wakanda Forever mastered its problems in the best possible way. You can feel the spirit of T'Challa during the entire movie, not overused or forced just authentic &worthy. Me as the audience I got swept into the movie and literally share the loss and grief.

Wakanda is in the middle of the story. Since T'Challa revealed its country and resources other countries try to steal them and it adds a very scary and realistic political vibe to it. I like the narrative a lot. The problem is for me Riri Williams some times the character interrupts the atmosphere of the movie and makes it feel like Marvel needs to introduce the character to tease for the future. Don't get me wrong the character of her is not the problem, it's just the wrong movie and time to be introduced. Her chemistry with Shuri and the Queen was there, but as I said if they cut the character out it would shorten the movie and make it even better.

Ramonda played by Angela Bassett delivers the most for me. Her performance was amazing and gave me goosebumps. While Shuri deals with the loss of her brother in hiding behind her tools and technology, Ramonda has to stand up for Wakanda and go public and defend it. She has a strong and tough personality.

Namor is an exceptional character which I enjoyed. Finally another decent villain with a good background and interesting colony under water. Great abilities, design and persona. Thank God, Marvel didn't waste his Potential by killing him off. I was actually rooting for him at some point and his motives were understandable. I'm pretty sure we're going to see much more and learn more from him and his folks.

The director did an unreal job here and probs to the writers as well. I can barely imagine how difficult it was to create a movie when you know the main characters actor Chadwick has passed. They deserve all the love and appreciation from the audience it can get.

Shout out to the crew for creating thrilling action sequences, amazing design & costumes and the CGI looks great. The music was also perfect. I remember the under water town and when that music started I was totally flashed.

The minor reasons why I rate it 9/10 is due to the unnecessary introduction of Riri Williams and the length of the movie. A great movie to end Phase 4 and I'll never forget Chadwick Boseman, RIP !

Beyblade (2001–2005)
10/10
6.9 ? The show deserves at least 7.5
20 October 2022
All low ratings come from grown adults. I'm 29 years old. I watched the show when it came out and I did watch the series 6-7 years ago and again this year. It's pure nostalgia. Of course I recognized things which I haven't when I was a kid. Some cheesy lines and acts, but the shows main target is kids. Besides that it deserves huge credits for well written characters with unique habits and stories. It's thrilling and exciting. I think I tried the later series after this OG Beyblade but couldn't stand its western dub it was terrible bad. I highly recommend you to watch this shows our let your kids watch it. They'll learn what it means to take responsibility, friendship, trust, never giving up in life and more life important values.

They didn't just do that to sell toys. Pokémon for example still sells and the anime has become beyond average.

So don't listen to the 1 star or 2 star or whatever clueless rating. Just let it rip !!
