I watch this version of the Christmas carol ,every couple of years and in my opinion it's still the best and most authentic take in dickens classic. George c Scott is what you imagine scrooge would look like and act like if you had a mental image of a victorian tyrant. He plays the part so well that others are poor in comparison. The Patrick Stewart attempt at playing scrooge in the 1999 version was not a patch on Scott's version. The whole atmosphere in this one is more believable and you can imagine the what the harsh winter and Xmas felt like back then. I will continue to watch this one and my kids have also said its an enjoyable movie. I have yet to see another version capture the essence of the bad old days and I believe if dickens could pick anyone to play scrooge he would pick Scott everytime.

This film couldnuave been so much better. Great setting and very claustrophobic, especially when walking through the underground tunnel . The shadowy horrible thing moving about in the distance creates a good.horror ambience. It's almost like a modern take on.sawney bean without the cannibalism. Turns out there had been an attempt at inbreeding but there.deosnt seem to be any y survivers. My main gripe about this movie was the last 30 mins. Police totally disbelieve a credible story from thr main.female character and don't even step.foot on the house, even though she had been staying.there and would have allowed access. The clown hay couldn't hold a gun without dropping it . And the abrupt ending ,it really was poor. But apart from that it wasn't the worst.

I watched all the episodes in the hope that something would happen!! This is one borefest and is more evidence that Disney are producing poor quality shows and attaching a star wars tag onto it,in the hope of milking yet more cash from it. If this didn't have a star wars tag , I bet half yhe viewers wouldnt even bother starting it . Its like a sci fi crime drama ,with a paramilitary police force and a bank job ,carried out by andor and his gang of anarchists . Disney really has to put an end to the star wars obsession as its being used to churn out rubbish. This was even worse than the book of boba fett and this makes that look good .

I have just watched all 10 episodes over 3 days and I must say it was better than I thought itnwould be. I watched GOT over 2 months last year and the bonus was I didn't need to wait for the next episode as it got hooked. Gutted I only have 1 series of this and am looking forward to second series . Defo worth a watch if your not sure. It paints the picture of what's to come in GOT and the hightowers are like the lannisters in that they would sell their souls for the throne. Just shows that having a relationship with your siblings is never advisable when it c9mes to bearing healthy children , hopefully series 2 isn't too far away as it looks like it could be a good one.

I have seen some pointless movies over the years but this takes the biscuit. Willis is being hunted, while the hunters manage to take out themselves. I watched this to the very end ,to see how bad it was and yes folks it's very bad indeed. Worst Bruce Willis movie since bonfire of the vanities. Don't waste your time with this turkey.

Thank god my subscription to sky finishes this month ,because let's face it , I would rather gloss a door than watch another one of their pitiful original movies . Don't waste your time .

Netflix comes up with another woke bunch of characters, the mixed race couple the gay couple. So right away the undertones are set for good v evil ,he evil being trump voters from the deep south. Can we stop with all this crap . Woke points of view seem to be the only ones in movies these days and anyone else who's not a charity coffee shop worker are from the dark side if the force . This movie was garbage.

This has to be the best sitcom ever ! Nothing obscene or PC about it, just hilarious. I watched the episode with the 2 sex dolls filled with propane there, hadn't seen it in years and still made me laugh so much. Nothing these days can even lay a glove on this and the chemistry between, Jason, Lyndhurst and Merryfield can't be beaten.

Started off well ,then as usual with Sky Original dramas, turns into a woke fest. All the rioters are white racists, another mixed.race relationship with the 2 socialists within the tory government, working to change the evil politicians. The white Eton home Secretary who looks like he could fit in a KKK meeting. The wokery is never ending and tje story is poor. All sky dramas have the same under tones these days and I'm now not watching anymore. There whole focus is now on race and social justice, regardless of what the drama is actually about.

I knew this was naff when I watched it in the 80s, even worse now nearly 40 years later. The original star wars effects still look decent. This looks awful. The shuttles are laughable, along with Marc singers acting. He's so wooden it's like an oak tree playing Mike Donovan. Don't bother .

This put me to sleep on the couch and had to rewind ot back tje 20 mins I had lost. I shouldn't have bothered ,as missed absolutely nothing. Totally unrealistic plot. No soldier would ever be allowed to rescue a.family member . I actually watched it to the end just to see if it got any better. It didn't!!
