Barbarian (2022)

Disturbingly Good!

Barbarian is about a woman "Tess" who rents a house, but soon discovers shocking facts about it.

Let's start with the positives of the movie, where the acting was really great, the beginning of the movie and the events were going well, the movie created a scary atmosphere and there were a lot of nerve-wracking scenes, it's actually your typical horror film, it's terrifying, disgusting and entertaining as well

The movie was really strange and I have mixed feelings towards it, while the main characters were racing to make stupid decisions throughout the movie, but I can't deny that I enjoyed it, Overall it was super catchy and that's what matters.

Fall (I) (2022)

A Great Survival Thriller with Lots Of Tense and Nail-biting Scenes!

Fall (2022) is a Stuck-In-One-Place kind of films, Similar to "127 hours" & "Frozen (2010)" about a two best friends who decide to climb an abandoned 2000-foot-long radio tower, But when the ladder collapses, the two girls find themselves trapped at the top of the tower with absolute no help.

Gotta admit that this movie was such a surprise, Watching the trailer for the movie made me think it was just a low quality movie with bad acting and boring events, but not at all it was a really great movie, the acting was very good, the events were really breathtaking and nerve-racking, some scenes literally made me scream to the screen.

I really liked the background story and the opening scene, and I must praise the amazing cinematography and directing that gave the film so much value, Definitely a good recommendation for a fun watch.

Till Death (I) (2021)

Ended Up Being Quiet Entertaining !

Till Death is a Survival/ Horror film about Amy (Megan Fox) found herself handcuffed to her dead husband as a part of a sick revenge while two killers arrive to finish her off.

I'm literally surprised of how good is this film, The first quarter of the movie will seem boring to you and the plot is not clear, but then the events and scenes of trying to survive begin you will really enjoy the high-tension events.

The plot has a lot of twists and the final scenes were really fun and breathtaking, The movie is a type of survival/ horror movies, just don't put a huge expectations and just enjoy watching the thriller.

Don't Breathe 2 (2021)

Watchable, But still a disappointing sequel for the fans!

Don't Breathe 2 is not a sequel or even a prequel, it's just some events that happened in some year (JUST DON'T ASK), I was going through this movie with high expectations because of how awesome the first part was but i ended up being a little bit disappointed.

The plot this time was weak, for those who are waiting for an explanation of what happened after the first part, I would like to tell you that the film will not mention anything about the previous events, the events were not as strong as the first part and somewhat boring until you reach the plot twist that will happen in the middle of the film and probably that is the only positive thing about this sequel.

This sequel will not satisfy anyone who really liked the first part, I'm not saying it's a terrible film it's kind of fun and there are exciting events that may be loved by those who love action movies and revenge, but really the movie has many negatives such as the performance of the little girl who was very weak as a lead actress.

Overall this part as an independent movie and without focus on the first part is an enjoyable and watchable movie.

Get Out (I) (2017)

Well Done Thriller, Still Don't Get The Hype!

Re-watched (Get Out 2017) "Directed by Jordan Peele since its release and it actually turned out to be even better than the first time I watched it, maybe because some points were made clear to me because the first time I didn't understand it well and in fact I didn't like it.

Acting of the cast was very nice especially the lead actor Daniel Kaluuya the hypnosis scene It was really impressive, the events were terrifyingly mysterious, and I actually felt goosebumps while watching some scenes, as if I was watching the movie for the first time, the final were really thrilling and breathtaking, overall the movie was really good and thriller was served.

Explanation of the "Still Don't Get The Hype" title : For a person who've seen so many films, thrillers and horror films I can say that I've seen better than this one, ok I get it.. acting was good and the directing was vey impressive but that doesn't explain the hype that happened and the critic's overwhelming praise, Comparing the director's works, in my opinion, (Us 2019) was way much better, strangely terrifying, and based on a story that most cultures believe in and that is "The Doppelgangers".

Jexi (2019)

Great Idea, And Definitely A Funny Film!

JEXI is the movie that everyone who obsessed with their phone and forgot their normal life should watch, the idea was absolutely great and the film has so many hilarious scenes and jokes, also the film has some emotional parts, I highly recommend for those who loves the romantic/comedy films with back story.

The Call (2020)

Brilliant, Shocking And Emotional !

It's been a while since I watch a movie that literally made me at the edge of my seat, breathless and waiting for what's coming next, The Call is absolutely an amazing and twisted film with unexpected events.

Acting was amazing and both of the leading actresses has made an awesome performances, the film is full of shocking events and twists that will blow your mind.

I have to praise the cinematography y'all, it's so amazing and the filming locations were incredible, the twist at the end was unnecessary in my opinion and it just made me so mad, they could just ended the film at the cemetery when the girl found her mother, But that doesn't make it a bad film, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Saw V (2008)

Brutal And Well Acted Prequel !

This fifth part is not enough for everyone but the fans will enjoy it for the most part, in my opinion this part is way stronger than the 4th part, acting was much better and the events were thrilling and suspenseful, also the kill scenes were smarter and more creative.

In this part we will get to know Jigsaw's first partner and how it all started, Saw Franchise has took a crime genre direction in the last two parts as the police is looking for Jigsaw's first partner while a new game has started.

Once again Saw Franchise has proved that you can't count on any character cause they're all will end up being dead, the twist at the end was really good this time and better than the 4th part, Saw is definitely a well connected franchise with an awesome twists.

Saw IV (2007)

Jigsaw Is Dead, But Not Really Dead !

SAW IV has surprised my expectations by how it was better than I expected, Tobin Bell this time brings so much more to the character this time around through flashbacks as we learn more about jigsaw's past life, the police is joined by a pair of FBI agents to help stop the jigsaw killer once and for all, they're starting by looking into his past beginning with his ex wife Jill.

Acting was pretty good and the events were entertaining and thrilling as usual but the kill scenes weren't as creative as the first three parts, the twist at the end was mind blowing and well connected with the previous part.

Less strong but still enjoyable and twisted film.

Saw III (2006)

Welcome To The World Of Jigsaw !

This third part has took a deeper look into the world of jigsaw and his creative kill machines, and how he make all his traps and who's helping him, if you're going to watch a SAW film you know the story is going to have a twists, turns and violence/gore scenes, in this part the story was amazing and shockingly twisted once again with a great explanation of how the first events happened.

SAW once again has proved that it's one of the most connected movie series ever made, the parts were incredibly connected together with new characters involved into the game of jigsaw, if you're watching this franchise don't expect to have a main character to follow, they're all victims and only few has survived and the only main character is jigsaw and his torture games.

The writers did a nice job giving the spotlight to all the characters instead of just focusing on Jigsaw and Amanda, the director has also done an awesome vision and added a darkly atmosphere to the plot, Saw III is was a clever and well written film.

Saw II (2005)

Intelligent Sequel !

It's rare to make a sequel as good as the original but this one did it, I personally loved this sequel as much as the original, the story was great and the plot was smartly connected with the first part which made the two movies are like one movie and that's how you make a great sequel, Jigsaw in this sequel is finally on screen, arrested and unmasked and he's making a discussion with a detective that his son is inside a new game of jigsaw.

The events were awesome, bloody and entertaining, the kills were brilliant and has made with a very creative way, and again.. another unexpected and shocking plot twist at the end that I literally didn't see it coming which is one of the positive things about SAW franchise, don't listen to the haters this sequel has done an amazing job.

Saw (2004)

One of the Most Clever Horror Movies !

A thriller that kept me at the edge of my seat from the beginning, the story was awesome and the events were thrilling and catchy and it just made me waiting for what will happen and how it will end.

Jigsaw is the most gruesome killer the cinema has been seen, the makers of this film has came up with a psycho that has no peer, the plot twist was shocking and I truly didn't see it coming at all, it's awesome that this movie was made in only 18 days by two filmmakers with literally no budget at all, hands down to the creative partners James Wan & Leigh Whannell (The Director and The Writer) for making this iconic movie.

Definitely a great transformation for the horror genre.

Red Eye (2005)

A Clever Suspenseful Thriller By The Master Of Horror "Wes Craven" !

Red Eye is actually one of the greatest thriller movies I've seen, acting was great, the story was simple and straight forward, it literally made me at the edge of my seat the whole time and it has a lot of breathtaking scenes, Rachel McAdams was absolutely amazing in this film and Cillian Murphy is creepier than ever and he played the "Bad guy" role perfectly.

The film is directed by "Wes Craven" the creator of Scream, A Nightmare On Elm Street and many other iconic horror films, so I can feel the Scream movie's vibes at some scenes in this movie, the chase scenes were very entertaining and fun, if you're in the mood of escape/thriller movie (Red Eye) might be your ticket.

Black Christmas (2006)

A Cheesy Slasher Film That I Love!

First, I haven't seen the original but I heard a lot of praising reviews about it so I can't compare between the two.

The remake in my opinion was very fun and entertaining, acting was good, cast were amazing and the girls were so beautiful, the film has a lot of chilling and scary moments, the gore scenes were excellent and brutal, the final scenes were awesome and twisted, I know that the plot is a bit predictable but it's actually one of the best slasher films of the 2000's era, just don't take it so seriously and you'll be surprised of how fun it is!

High Tension (2003)

A Really High Tense Film!

This film was actually really good and fast pacing, it has the all the perfect horror elements, it's bloody, darkly depressing and suspenseful despite the twist at the end was predictable and you can figure it out from the beginning.

acting was believable and the kill scenes were very good and brutal, it's my first time watching this film and I was expected better than this, it wasn't the best film I've seen cause I've seen better films with more shocking plot twist and that's what made the film a little bit weak to me, overall it was a very good slasher film with lots of bloody scenes, recommend for those who love this genre.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

A Perfect Zombie Film!

In a world of bad remakes Dawn of the Dead '2004' was an awesome remake with new directions and an end that deserve a sequel.

I really loved that they didn't follow the exact storyline, they took the basics from the original and made it more contemporary, The cast were amazing and I really loved the team spirit that presented in this film.

the events were breathtaking, the chase and the action were very fun for watch, I was literally on the edge of my seat through many scenes and I start to really care about the characters, definitely one of the greatest zombie films.

Wrong Turn (2021)

A WHOLE DIFFERENT TURN!

This movie is definitely not related to the original movie, it's a whole different story and plot, the first thing you have to know about this movie before you watch it is that there is no cannibals in it, those that we've seen in the previous parts or any funny killing scenes, this one has a took a more serious story.

The first half of the movie will sound predictable and clishé about a group of friends with a blonde girl as the main character are being hunted by a mysterious people but in the next half the plot will appear clearly but the only issue is the race and gender discussions cause it was unnecessary.

The events were good and I really had fun while watching the (Try To Survive) scenes, also the ending was way better than I expected and the lead actress in the final scenes has done a great performance, acting was somehow good but weak in some parts like when their friends started to disappear I expected a stronger expressions, overall the movie was absolutely better than I expected from the trailer and it's definitely worth the watch!

Hostel (2005)

This movie is definitely not funny in any way, I can't believe that there's some horror fans find it good, they tried to do something but it ended up so stupid and boring, 'The Final Girls' is absolutely much better. I need back the hour that I've wasted while watching this movie!!

Anne Hathaway is such an amazing & smart actress the way she chooses her roles is just incredible, also the chemistry between her and Robert De Niro in this movie is incredible, this one's actually really good and sensitive and sweetly smart, such an amazing film.

Mean Girls 2 (2011 TV Movie)

My only problem with this movie is calling it "Mean Girls 2" like what the hell? who gave them the right to name it like that, it's not even close to the original, also the acting of those teens is weak tbh, it's just an okay high school comedy to watch in a good day.
