1. Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)

R | 87 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

26 Metascore

Five years after the events of the first film, a summer camp next to the infamous Camp Crystal Lake is preparing to open, but the legend of Jason is weighing heavy on the proceedings.

Director: Steve Miner | Stars: Betsy Palmer, Amy Steel, John Furey, Adrienne King

Votes: 77,797 | Gross: $21.72M

A huge fan favorite. John Furey was hilarious, Amy Steel was fantastic in the movie especially using psychology to trick Jason. A cult classic they didn't go overboard with the use of gore that comes in the sequels. Out of all of the Friday films in my opinion this is the scariest one. This movie is the horror classic of the series. 10/10

2. Friday the 13th: Part 3 (1982)

R | 95 min | Horror, Thriller

30 Metascore

Jason Voorhees stalks a group of friends who have just arrived to spend the weekend at a cabin near Crystal Lake.

Director: Steve Miner | Stars: Dana Kimmell, Tracie Savage, Richard Brooker, Terry Ballard

Votes: 60,442 | Gross: $36.69M

Good movie. The 3-D effects wear annoying, the lead girl was attractive and maybe one of the better ones in the series. I liked how she had.a backstory with Jason but still I liked her character up until the ending. Richard Brooker was good as Jason the first one to don the now iconic hockey mask also he's alot easier to look when he removes the mask. In this installment Jason I would say is 50/50 or 75/25 because in The Final Chapter he feels more like a supernatural being (which there's nothing wrong with, its just not that realistic & I don't find that as scary) opposed in his debut you get the feeling he's just a human with mental problems but still human nonetheless but in this installment you still get the sense that he's human but now you see he starts to take a supernatural turn as he crushes the character "Rick's" skull with his barehands. But still this human Jason is still entertaining to watch 9/10

3. Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986)

R | 86 min | Horror, Thriller

30 Metascore

Tommy Jarvis exhumes Jason Voorhees to cremate his corpse, but inadvertently brings him back to life instead. The newly revived killer seeks revenge, and Tommy may be the only one who can stop him.

Director: Tom McLoughlin | Stars: Thom Mathews, Jennifer Cooke, David Kagen, Kerry Noonan

Votes: 51,254 | Gross: $19.47M

A great movie, it took humor & used it and still made to movie good. The very best of the series. The acting was great Tom Matthews as Tommy, the lead girl, her dad, CJ Graham as Jason. An all round good movie. This installment is my favorite because even though I find human Jason to be scarier the supernatural turn they took for this installment was executed very well. I just think the main gripe with fans is that Jason is a zombie and that isn't as scary as a human since their is no way to take him down for good (that's the only gripe I have with this film) but either way it makes no difference the dark humor was on point and this movie was great. I however do think the series should've ended after 3 or The Final Chapter. 9/10

4. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)

R | 91 min | Horror, Thriller

33 Metascore

After being announced dead and taken to a morgue, Jason Voorhees spontaneously revives, escapes from the hospital, and stalks a group of friends renting a house in the countryside near Crystal Lake.

Director: Joseph Zito | Stars: Erich Anderson, Judie Aronson, Peter Barton, Kimberly Beck

Votes: 59,197 | Gross: $32.98M

Definitely to most fans the best in the series & it it ONE OF THE BEST. It's almost equally as good as Jason Lives but not up there. I loved Crispin Glover & Corey Feldmans performances a great movie overall. Ted White is great as Jason in my opinion he's one of the best up there with Kane Hodder, C.J. Graham, & Derek Mears. I liked Kimberly Beck as the lead girl. I especially love that song To Each His Own. 8.5/10

5. Friday the 13th: The New Blood (1988)

R | 88 min | Horror, Thriller

13 Metascore

Jason Voorhees is accidentally freed from his watery prison by a telekinetic teenager. Now, only she can stop him.

Director: John Carl Buechler | Stars: Terry Kiser, Jennifer Banko, John Otrin, Susan Blu

Votes: 42,381 | Gross: $19.17M

A good installment Lar Park Lincoln was a little over the top at times though. Although the plot of a girl with psychic powers vs. Jason does sound ludicrous, it worked out pretty good. Kevin Blair was very likable in his role as the lead girls interest, he was the kind of character you were hoping would't die, that girl who you can't help but hate and couldn't wait to so die was good, and Kane Hodder of course as Jason. Kane Hodder is definetly one of the best Jason's walks as if he's pissed he's huffing & puffing likes he's pissed looks as if he'll rip your head off if get anywhere near him great installment. 8/10

6. Friday the 13th (1980)

R | 95 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

22 Metascore

A group of teenage camp counselors attempt to re-open an abandoned summer camp with a tragic past, but they are stalked by a mysterious, relentless killer.

Director: Sean S. Cunningham | Stars: Betsy Palmer, Adrienne King, Jeannine Taylor, Robbi Morgan

Votes: 157,522 | Gross: $39.75M

Now I know a lot of people will be pissed at me for ranking this so low. I know a lot of you would rank this #1 or in the top 5 but this movie to me is not all of the hype its said to be. Jason isn't the killer in this movie & I think Friday The 13th belongs to Jason and this makes for a good prequel but I don't find this movie to be the classic so many people hail it to be. I think its an ok movie, it's not great or good or bad this movie is so-so at best. 5/10

7. Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)

R | 100 min | Adventure, Horror, Thriller

14 Metascore

Jason Voorhees is accidentally awakened from his watery grave and ends up stalking a ship full of graduating high-school students headed to Manhattan, New York.

Director: Rob Hedden | Stars: Jensen Daggett, Kane Hodder, Todd Caldecott, Tiffany Paulsen

Votes: 43,102 | Gross: $14.34M

The most misleading title. This movie should be called "Jason Takes A Boat", "Jason Takes A Boat On The Way To Manhattan", "Jason On A Boat". Nothing good about this movie. But anyway at first I hated this movie & thought this was one but after thinking about more & watching it again its not as bad as I remember. Although the fact that Jason can now teleport still annoys me & the false promises of Jason being in New York & he's not for most of the time still pisses me off but still seeing Jason in a new environment is entertaning and I do think it does keep some fans occupied. 6.5/10

8. Jason X (2001)

R | 92 min | Action, Horror, Sci-Fi

25 Metascore

Jason Voorhees is cryogenically frozen at the beginning of the 21st century, and is discovered in the 25th century and taken to space. He gets thawed, and begins stalking and killing the crew of the spaceship that's transporting him.

Director: James Isaac | Stars: Kane Hodder, Lexa Doig, Jeff Geddis, David Cronenberg

Votes: 61,553 | Gross: $13.12M

I don't see what's so bad about this movie. But I will admit the cyborg & fight with the android was stupid. Kane Hodder looked the most intimadating as Jason since "The New Blood", theres nothing to hate about the movie althought like I said the cyborg look to Jason & his fight with the android was pretty stupid along with the plot of Jason in space but the events of the movie made of up for it. 6/10

9. Freddy vs. Jason (2003)

R | 97 min | Action, Horror

37 Metascore

Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees return to terrorize the teenagers of Elm Street. Only this time, they're out to get each other, too.

Director: Ronny Yu | Stars: Robert Englund, Ken Kirzinger, Kelly Rowland, Monica Keena

Votes: 127,321 | Gross: $82.62M

They gave a good fight, I wasn't disapointed, the movies had a few good funny moments, good plot, great movie, but the gore was over the top. Freddy wasn't doing much of the killing but you get to Robert Englund do one more performance as Freddy before the remake, Ken Kirzenkinger was an OK Jason, but I think Kane Hodder should've still did the role. This movie offers a lot of suspense, and action during Freddy & Jason's fight scenes. 7.5/10

10. Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)

R | 92 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

16 Metascore

Still haunted by his past, Tommy Jarvis, who, as a child, killed Jason Voorhees, is sent to a secluded halfway house in the countryside, where the killing of a young man triggers a brutal series of murders in the area.

Director: Danny Steinmann | Stars: Melanie Kinnaman, John Shepherd, Anthony Barrile, Suzanne Bateman

Votes: 43,937 | Gross: $21.93M

I know this movie doesn't have Jason also but instead the character of "Roy Burns" or as I like to call him "Imposter Jason". In this movie the character/killer Jason dead after being hacked to death by Tommy in The Final Chapter. This is another bad movie it had its moments kills that would make you think it was jason. I found somethings funny such as the mental kid with an axe that looks like he'll get andry for just about anything literally: if you looked at him wrong he'd gouge your eyes out, if you throw trash in the dumpster by he'd blow your brains out if he heard you taking a *beep* in the *beep* house he'd break down the door & cut your assoff, if he's in the stall and heard you take a piss he'd cut your *beep* off thats how worked up he is. But again this movie has its moments its almost decent though, not as bad as Jason Takes Manhattan & a *beep* well better movie than Jason Goes To Hell. I rate this 5/10

11. Friday the 13th (2009)

R | 97 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

34 Metascore

A group of young adults visit a boarded up campsite named Crystal Lake where they soon encounter the mysterious Jason Voorhees and his deadly intentions.

Director: Marcus Nispel | Stars: Jared Padalecki, Amanda Righetti, Derek Mears, Danielle Panabaker

Votes: 116,958 | Gross: $65.00M

Alright remake. Kind of puts the first 4 installments into one big movie. Derek Mears as Jason is DEFINTELY one of the best Jasons, he looked scary, moved fast thats how Jason should be, looking forward to sequel when it comes out. 5.4/10

12. Jason Goes to Hell (1993)

R | 87 min | Fantasy, Horror, Thriller

17 Metascore

Serial killer Jason Voorhees' supernatural origins are revealed.

Director: Adam Marcus | Stars: John D. LeMay, Kari Keegan, Kane Hodder, Steven Williams

WTF IS THIS *beep*. 0/10
