I know this is a remake, but the original is not even 1% as terrorizing as this one. They come up like zombie orcs from outer mordor but they are just some backwood *beep* Fight 'em to survive, but be warned that you're fighting in their land.

I was young. I had studied the programm papers. I knew my parents wouldn't like to know that I watch it. I watched it and I almost *beep* my pants. The new sort of terror comed from out there and suddenly is among us. It knows how to infiltrate us. It's nasty, hungry and dangerously intelligent. I have sweaty hands by watching this movie until today.

A classic monstertale that knows to please through very graphic images and visual horror.

Madness the old fashioned way needs demons and monsters. All that you find in this great tale of the beyond and further. And a man inbetween, whose job it is to tell others what is scary, gets scared the hell out of him.

Here we have a classic Lovecraft tale revisitied. This is one of the most ambitious and beautiful adaptions of his writings in modern movie culture. Recommended to Lovecraft-fans also as to fans of classic horror.
