1. Paul Walker

Actor | The Fast and the Furious

Paul William Walker IV was born in Glendale, California. He grew up together with his brothers, Caleb and Cody, and sisters, Ashlie and Amie. Their parents, Paul William Walker III, a sewer contractor, and Cheryl (Crabtree) Walker, a model, separated around September 2004. His grandfather, William ...

The role of Flash Gordon is likely to be a hotly debated topic on the Podcast - I (Ron) personally like the idea of Paul Walker as Flash Gordon. Ryan Gosling can't be in everything, and I think if you are acttually going to get this made and potentially make it a franchise then locking in a current A-Lister might be too hard. Other contenders we will likely discuss are Charlie Hunnam from Sons of Anarchy, Jai Courtney from Reacher/Die Hard, Arnie Hammer from Lone Ranger and Stephen Amell from TV show Arrow.

2. Rachel McAdams

Actress | The Notebook

Rachel Anne McAdams was born on November 17, 1978 in London, Ontario, Canada, to Sandra Kay (Gale), a nurse, and Lance Frederick McAdams, a truck driver and furniture mover. She is of English, Welsh, Irish, and Scottish descent. Rachel became involved with acting as a teenager and by the age of 13 ...

Dale Arden - desired by many (Ming, Vultan, Flash) Dale is the girl next door, the damsel in distress etc. For the movie you need someone who looks like that, but can then be so much more. Rachel McAdams is my choice. Others in consideration: Ashley Greene (Twighlight) Allison Miller (Go On) and Emma Stone - who is the fan boy favorite for EVERYTHING! (Because she is so darned hot right now..)

3. Peter Stormare

Actor | Fargo

Peter Stormare was born in Arbrå, Gävleborgs län, Sweden, to Gunhild (Holm) and Karl Ingvar Storm. He began his acting career at the Royal National Theatre of Sweden, performing for eleven years. In 1990 he became the Associate Artistic Director at the Tokyo Globe Theatre and directed productions ...

Hans Zarkoff the mad scientists who kidnaps Flash and Dale initially in an effort to save the world... this is a role is for great character actor rather than a star vehicle so while Christoph Waltz might be in an all-star Dream Cast, I would personally prefer Peter Stormare as he has great comedic credentials just ahead of Richard Schiff and Stanely Tucci, both personal favorites of mine.

4. Ken Watanabe

Actor | The Last Samurai

Ken Watanabe was born on October 21, 1959 in Uonuma, Japan. Both of his parents were teachers: his mother taught general education and his dad taught calligraphy. He became interested in acting at the age of 24, when a director of England's National Theater Company, where he was studying, told him ...

Who can really follow Max Von Sydow? I loved Ken Watanabe in Inception and thing he would do a great job as Ming. Chow Yun-Fat (Crouching Tiger) or Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa (Shredder himself!) are also great options. Frank Langella could do the role justice as well... from left field maybe Hugh Laurie (House)?

5. Ben Barnes

Actor | The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

British actor Benjamin Thomas Barnes was born in Cambridge, England, to Patricia (Becker), a relationship therapist, and Thomas Barnes, a professor of psychiatry. He has a brother, Jack. His mother is from South Africa while his father is English.

Barnes studied at Homefield Preparatory and King's ...

Who better to play Prince Barin then Prince Caspian? This role is almost an audition for Bond, so future Bond candidates should chase this one. It worked for Timothy Dalton. Other candidates might be Aiden Turner (The Hobbit) or Orlando Bloom.

6. Dichen Lachman

Actress | Jurassic World Dominion

Dichen Lachman was born in Kathmandu, Nepal, to a Tibetan mother and Australian father. Until the age of seven, she lived in Kathmandu with her parents and extended family. Following that, she moved to Adelaide, Australia, with her parents. After dropping out of university, Dichen took up acting ...

Princess Aura was a hard choice for me. Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse) has the action pedigree to make this character more than a damsal in distress. Olivia Wilde is a very close second, very hard to separate, but there have to be some budget calls along the way. Moon Bloodgold and Gong Li are two others that I really considered as well.

7. Jack Black

Actor | School of Rock

Thomas Jacob "Jack" Black was born on August 28, 1969 in Santa Monica, California and raised in Hermosa Beach, California to Judith Love Cohen & Thomas William Black, both satellite engineers. He is of Russian Jewish & British-German ancestry. Black attended the University of California at Los ...

Brian Blessed was iconic in the role of Prince Vultan with his over the top performance - Jack Black is the same way and would fit right into this role. Fans have oft nominated Gerard Butler in this role too. He would be excellent but is definately out of the price range for a supporting role.

8. Adam Copeland

Actor | Vikings

Adam Copeland is an actor and an professional wrestler, who wrestles as Edge in the WWE. He starred as one of the leads in the fifth season of the popular television series Haven on Syfy. He also starred as a recurring character on the History Channel series Vikings. Canadian-born, Copeland's life ...

Former Rated R Superstar Adam "Edge" Copeland would make a great Prince Thun. Not a part of the original movie, this character is well known on the comics and the original novies of the 30's and 40's. Would make a great point of difference for this movie.

9. Tricia Helfer

Actress | Battlestar Galactica

Tricia Helfer is a Canadian cover girl model-turned-actress who has developed her resume beyond the catwalk to include many diverse roles highlighting her versatile and natural screen presence. Best known as the face of the series, and for her Leo award-winning lead performance as the humanoid, ...

Can a Cylon be a General? Tricia Helfer as Kala is my choice, running a very close second to Milla Jovovich.

10. Julian McMahon

Actor | Fantastic Four

Julian Dana William McMahon was born in Sydney, Australia, the second of three children of Lady Sonia McMahon (née Sonia Rachel Hopkins) and Sir Billy McMahon, the longest continuously serving government minister in Australian history, serving over 21 years as a government minister before serving ...

Played Doctor Doom so can rock a mask as Kletus!
