If it's even true that Joss Whedon will make a Batgirl movie for the DCEU, this is the actresses I could see playing the part well.

1. Natalia Tena

Actress | Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Natalia Gastiain Tena is an English actress and musician. She played Nymphadora Tonks in the Harry Potter film series, and the wildling Osha in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011).

Tena is also the lead singer and accordionist of Molotov Jukebox. The band released their debut album Carnival Flower...

Tonks in Harry Potter and Osho (or something) in GoT. Although I prefer her as Catwoman in Ayer's Gothan City Sirens.

2. Abbie Cornish

Actress | Bright Star

Abbie Cornish, also known by her rap name Dusk, is an Australian actress and rapper. Following her lead performance in 2004's Somersault, Cornish is best-known for her film roles as the titular heroin addict in the drama Candy (2006), courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical drama Elizabeth: ...

She kicked ass in both Limitless and Sucker Punch. And she's right in the middle of that exquisite sophisticated and badass line.

3. Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Actress | 10 Cloverfield Lane

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is an actress known for her versatile work in a variety of film and television projects. Possibly most known for her role as Ramona Flowers in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), she has also starred in critically acclaimed independent films such as Smashed (2012), for which...

Oh, Ramona... She's been in the Scott Pilgrim film and Sky High. She's proven in the superhero/comic book genre. And those beautiful big eyes would look gorgeous through that mask.

4. Lizzy Caplan

Actress | Hot Tub Time Machine

Actress Elizabeth Anne "Lizzy" Caplan was born in Los Angeles, California, to Barbara (Bragman), a political aide, and Richard Caplan, a lawyer. She has two older siblings, Julie and Benjamin, and was raised in a Jewish household. Her mother was a cousin of publicist Howard Bragman. Caplan was ...

I just love her. She's so gracious and elegant while she can be rough and savage. She's been in mean girls, cloverfield & The Interview.

5. Emma Stone

Actress | La La Land

Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (née Yeager), a homemaker & Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a contracting company founder and CEO. She is of Swedish, German & British Isles descent. Stone began acting as a child as a member of the ...

She's not my first choice but it seems to be many people's top choice. I wouldn't oppose to Emma Stone doing anything. She's a delight.

6. Teresa Palmer

Actress | Warm Bodies

Actress and model Teresa Palmer has gathered some impressive film credits. She was born in Adelaide, South Australia, to Kevin Palmer, an investor, and Paula Sanders, a former missionary and nurse. She completed high school at Mercedes College in 2003, where she was a popular student who was ...

I think she was one of the few good things of I Am Number Four

7. Emilia Clarke

Actress | Game of Thrones

British actress Emilia Clarke was born in London and grew up in Oxfordshire, England. Her father was a theatre sound engineer and her mother is a businesswoman. Her father was working on a theatre production of "Show Boat" and her mother took her along to the performance. This is when, at the age ...

Highly unlikely but I would be fantastic. You know her. Game of Thrones' Daenerys Targaryen (is that how is spelled?)

8. AnnaSophia Robb

Actress | Bridge to Terabithia

Actress AnnaSophia Robb most recently starred in two of Hulu's most critically acclaimed limited series. In 2019, she co-starred opposite Patricia Arquette in THE ACT. This spring, she portrayed the flashback version of Reese Witherspoon's "Elena Richardson" character in LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE, ...

What she's been doing lately? She killed in Bridge to Terabithia (not literally, it was actually *SPOILERS* the opposite) and in Soul Surfer

9. Anna Popplewell

Actress | The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Anna Popplewell was born on December 16, 1988 in London, England as Anna Katherine Popplewell. She is an actress, known for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) and Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn (2012). She is also known ...

All Hail Queen Susan! Just because she's absolutely gorgeous. And she's a marvelous actress.

10. Aubrey Plaza

Actress | Safety Not Guaranteed

Aubrey Christina Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is an American actress and comedian known for her deadpan style. She portrayed April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation (2009), and after appearing in supporting roles in several films, had her first leading role in the 2012 comedy Safety Not Guaranteed (...

Now, she's a comedian. But I think she could do a great job if she dials down on the silliness she's usually put up to. And I adore her.
