James Bond investigates the hijacking of British and Russian submarines carrying nuclear warheads, with the help of a K.G.B. agent whose lover he killed.
Director: Lewis Gilbert | Stars: Roger Moore, Barbara Bach, Curd Jürgens, Richard Kiel
Votes: 116,268 | Gross: $46.80M
An underrated film, though the rating is acceptable, Roger Moore's best Bond film, good villains, a strong Bond girl, fantastic locations, good humour, a great shoot out and the introduction of the best Bond henchman of all time, in my opinion. This film deserves more praise, it's one of the best, I place it just above Casino Royale, partly due to sentimental reasons, but it represents the best of the original Bond formula, before Casino Royale changed things.
7. Casino Royale (2006)
PG-13 | 144 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller
After earning 00 status and a licence to kill, secret agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007. Bond must defeat a private banker funding terrorists in a high-stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, Montenegro.
Director: Martin Campbell | Stars: Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Judi Dench, Jeffrey Wright
Votes: 694,500 | Gross: $167.45M
People were critical of Craig, but he proved that he was arguably the best actor to take on the role, Casino Royale is a different type of Bond film, the gadgets are gone, Q is gone and his relationship with Vesper is different to Bond's usual relationships with Bond girls. I'm sure that the success of Bourn had an effect on the style of this film, nevertheless it is a fantastic film.
8. Duck Soup (1933)
Not Rated | 69 min | Comedy, Musical

Votes: 62,735
9. Skyfall (2012)

James Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
Director: Sam Mendes | Stars: Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Judi Dench
Votes: 731,043 | Gross: $304.36M
A great Bond film, Raoul Silva is a top villain, one of the greatest of all time, Skyfall has a good blend of action and humour, some great action scenes and we see a more vulnerable Bond, the ending is emotional and of coarse, we hear the best Bond theme in some time. Skyfall is perhaps a little overrated, I would not call it the best Bond film, Casino Royale is better, in my opinion, but it's still a terrific film.
10. Munich (2005)
R | 164 min | Action, Drama, History
After the Black September capture and massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics, five men are chosen to eliminate the people responsible for that fateful day.

Director: Peter R. Hunt | Stars: George Lazenby, Diana Rigg, Telly Savalas, Gabriele Ferzetti
Votes: 99,442 | Gross: $22.80M
The most underrated Bond film, the initial responses were poor, but people did not want anyone to take over from Sean Connery, which is part of the reason why the responses were not good. I grew up being told that this was an awful film, the worst of the franchise, people will believe what the critics tell them, but this is honestly one of the best Bond films. George Lazenby had very little acting experience, prior to starring as James Bond and his perormance in this film is underrated and unappreciated, Diana Rigg's perormance is also strong, Tracy Bond is also one of the all time best Bond girls. This film is different to other Bond films, Bond falls in love and gets married, the ending is a tragic one, a very good film.
15. GoldenEye (1995)
PG-13 | 130 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller
Years after a friend and fellow 00 agent is killed on a joint mission, a secret space based weapons program known as "GoldenEye" is stolen. James Bond is assigned to stop a Russian crime syndicate from using the weapon.
Director: Martin Campbell | Stars: Pierce Brosnan, Sean Bean, Izabella Scorupco, Famke Janssen
Votes: 270,204 | Gross: $106.60M
At the time, this was the first Bond film in six years, people wondered whether Bond would come back, this film had to be successful, it was. This is Brosnan's best Bond film, with the best villains and the best action scenes, the tank scene being a favourite, the fight with 006 is one of the best in the franchise.

Director: John Glen | Stars: Timothy Dalton, Robert Davi, Carey Lowell, Talisa Soto
Votes: 112,076 | Gross: $34.67M
An underrated Bond film, it was heavily criticised, but it has aged well, Licence to Kill is the most violent Bond film, featuring exploding heads and man eating sharks. The Bond villains are strong and violent, but Dalton's Bond pulls no punches, when Dalton took over from Moore, there was a change in tone and it was a necessary one, Licence to Kill is a good film and it deserves more credit.
