Here's a trailer for an awesome-looking martial arts fantasy film called Ninja Apocalypse. The movie was directed by Lloyd Lee Barnett, who has worked on the visual effects for films such as Avatar, Speed Racer, and Spider-Man. Judging from the trailer it looks like there will be some fun humor mixed in with some crazy cool action sequences involving martial arts mixed with magical powers. It looks like it will be a really entertaining, action-packed flick! The movie has a Mortal Kombat kind of feel to it, but it also has zombies! Not much is known about the plot of the film yet, but this trailer gives you a solid idea of what to expect.
The cast of the film includes Christian Oliver (The Three Musketeers), Ernie Reyes Jr. (The Rundown), Les Brandt, West Liang, Kaiwi Lyman, Tara Macken, Isaac C. Singleton Jr., Antoinette Kalaj, Mark Heidelberger, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa...

Jon Keeyes is the director behind the horror movie American Nightmare starring two legendary horror divas, Debbie Rochon and Brinke Stevens. With American Nightmare, Jon Keeyes created a low budget indie slasher that was accessible and commercial, yet a bit edgy and different. It featured Debbie Rochon in the leading role as a psychopathic killer who stalks a group of friends one Halloween night bringing their worst fears to life. American Nightmare proved that Rochon just isn't another pretty face, but a force to be reckoned with. She turned in a performance that was loud and in your face, but also subtle and naunced. No easy combination to pull off! There has been talks swirling in the air of a sequel and a possible tenth anniversary edition, but untill that day comes, we will have to wait in anticpation of Keeyes latest film, The Gathering, which is getting under way.

Treasure Entertainment said Friday that Camelot Entertainment Group has secured the rights to Omar McGee's life story for him to direct as a fictional feature. Titled Thank God, the film is inspired by McGee's autobiographical basketball docu Flintown Kids, which screened this year. Treasure also said that all Spanish rights to Flintown were secured by Spain's CineDigital during the American Film Market. The digital video-shot Flintown, produced by Treasure co-chairmen Jesse Felsot and Mark Heidelberger, chronicles McGee's return to his hometown of Flint, Mich., and several of his friends' journeys from poverty to NBA stardom, along with those who haven't escaped their drug- and crime-ridden surroundings. It includes exclusive high school game footage of such pro players as LeBron James, Jason Richardson, Morris Peterson and Mateen Cleaves. Treasure is sharing domestic and international sales duties on the pic with WMI, which signed McGee after the Cannes debut of Flintown. Kevin Asbell served as the docu's co-producer. The Spanish deal was brokered by Premiera Euro Cinemas with Miodrag Kotlajic and Erik A. Baron for Treasure with CineDigital. WMI packaged the rights to McGee's life story and sealed his directing deal with Camelot.
