Marilyn Manson announced that he has decided to “part ways” with longtime bassist Jeordie White, also known as Twiggy Ramirez, ahead of the band’s upcoming tour.
“I have decided to part ways with Jeordie White as a member of Marilyn Manson,” the singer tweeted on Tuesday. “He will be replaced for the upcoming tour. I wish him well.” He added on Instagram, “This is a sad day.”
Although Manson did not cite a reason for the split, the news comes four days after Jessicka Addams of the band Jack Off Jill accused White of rape during their relationship in the ’90s.

Frightmare! The premier horror convention in the Southwest has come again, and it was a riot. Well, not literally. Thankfully, massive improvements were made this year with line management of the more popular guests and parking so even when things were hot and heavy on Saturday, we never reached the critical mass found last year.
The movie and television guests were a literal who's who of icons throughout the years. The three guests of honor, Linda Blair, George A Romero, and Tobin Bell, were all busy with fans at their tables all weekend. I heard that Bell went till 1am signing on Saturday to make sure everyone was taken card of.
Having tables set up near empty walls for attendees to line up against and usage of tickets when lines got too long were big improvements. With the three guests of honor and other fan favorites such as Scott Wilson...

Thousands of horror fans invaded the Hyatt-Regency Hotel at the Dfw Airport on May 2, 3, and 4 for 2014's annual Texas Frightmare Weekend. The three day event boasts one of the largest gatherings of genre celebrities in the Southern United States. It's a hotspot for enthusiasts looking to meet their favorite actors and buy the latest and hard-to-find collectibles the terror industry has to offer.
Texas Frightmare Weekend took place on one level of the Hyatt-Regency Hotel. You would think that an event boasting high-profile guests like Tobin Bell (the Saw movies), Linda Hamilton (the Terminator movies), and Night of the Living Dead creator George A. Romero would cause a riot or crowd catastrophe in such a small area. However, lines to greet the celebrities were well-organized. You may have stood in them for five hours to meet someone, but you at least knew where you needed to be and go.

Marilyn Manson has been sent a letter from serial killer Charles Manson. The 'Disposable Teens' artist used Manson's surname as part of his stage name, along with Marilyn Monroe. The practice was also used by other members of his band, including Twiggy Ramirez, Ginger Fish and Madonna Wayne Gacy. The postcard from Manson was leaked on Loudwire, and contains strange, threatening remarks made to the singer. Charles Manson wrote: "To Marilyn Manson, It's taken me a long time to get there from where I could touch M. Manson. Now I got a card to play - you may look into my non-profit, Atwa, and give Manson what you think he's got coming for Air, Trees, Water, and you (sic). "Or I will pay Manson what you think Manson got coming - the music has make Manson into Abraxas Devil, and I'm Sure you would want some of what (more...

Marilyn Manson is making a "punk rock" album. The shock rocker has produced records in a number of different genres through his career, from his gothic, industrial beginnings to glam and stadium rock, but now he plans to strip back his sound to include the rebellious spirit of punk.
The album also sees Marilyn reunite with bass and guitar player and songwriter Twiggy Ramirez, who played on the most popular Marilyn Manson albums, "Antichrist Superstar" and "Mechanical Animals", but left the group in 2002, before returning as a touring member in 2008.
Twiggy told Spin, "It's kind of like a little more of a punk rock 'Mechanical Animals'. Without sounding too pretentious - I don't even know what that means! I don't want to speak for Manson, but it's definitely great. It's fantastic. It's our best record yet, I think. I mean, everyone always says that, but I think this is our best work so far.

Marilyn Manson guitarist/bassist Jeordie White, aka Twiggy Ramirez, has confirmed that the group's new album has almost been completed. Speaking to The Blairing Out with Eric Blair Show backstage at the Dimebash benefit gig, Ramirez revealed that progress had been made on the follow-up to last year's The High End Of Low, the guitarist's first with the band since 2000's Holy Wood. Ramirez said: "We got a new album. It's almost done, it'll probably be out next year. It's fantastic, it's our best record yet I think. I mean, everyone always says that (more)...

Though I was feeling a little down on Lost yesterday when executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse told HitFix that they had no plans to solve one of the show's still-outstanding mysteries (just who was on the other end of that outrigger shootout last season?), I've found my fannish tendencies revived today by a most unlikely source: Marilyn Manson. The shock rocker painted a portrait of Lost's John Locke for his bassist, Twiggy Ramirez, and while I might have preferred a watercolor Lapidus, this will do in a pinch. Check out a bigger version below. [Facebook via Vulture]...

Later this month, German future-glam quintet Cinema Bizarre – whose Love Songs (They Kill Me) we presented on these pages earlier this year – are finally poised to roll out their first full-length Us album Bang! The American debut comes just one day after the release of the band's second European album, Toyz. More decadent details below! The digital debut of Bang! will contain several tracks from Toyz, as well as songs from Cinema Bizarre's first European release, Final Attraction, and several cuts not found on either album – including a remix of Love Songs by Marilyn Manson's Twiggy Ramirez (aka Jeordie White), and the brand new track Wasted. Also debuting on iTunes today is the new...

Everyone’s favorite Antichrist, Marilyn Manson, has returned to the media spotlight with his latest release “The High End Of Low”. This new CD is a collection of misanthropic mayhem that covers a slew of emotions as we journey through an hour’s worth of new music. Songs like “Pretty As A Swastika”, “Arma-goddamn-motherfuckin-geddon” and “We’re From America” kick you right in the face with their punk-like feel (no doubt due to the return of Twiggy Ramirez), while tracks like “Four Rusted Horses”, “Running to the Edge of the World”, and “Into the Fire” really showcase Marilyn Manson’s ability to achieve that melancholic mood and really sing his heart out over mostly acoustic instruments. There’s something here for everyone, whether aggressiveness is your attention-getter, or dark and gloomy is your poison of preference. Marilyn Manson has covered all his bases with “The High End Of Low”, a...

How sweet it is to see Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez carousing around Hollywood together again? Last night at the Spike TV Scream Awards, Manson and Twiggy took a trip down the red carpet to talk about their forthcoming album - among other things. SpookyDan caught up with Manson who chatted about the progress of his horror film, Phantasmagoria, while also giving some insight into his latest record. Twiggy chimes in with some very interesting (and odd) dialogue. I'd call this a must read... I just got an updated script [for Phantasmagoria] today," Manson says explaining that making records always seems to get in the way of filming the movie. "I dont know what the status is, except that I think that timing has always been a problem with it, because I wanted to do a record when it was time to do it. Now, were focused on making another record."...

Gidget Gein, a former member of Marilyn Manson's band, has been found dead. The bass player, real name Brad Stewart, was with the group from 1989 until 1993, when he was fired and replaced by Twiggy Ramirez. He then relocated to New York with his own band, Gidget Gein & The Dali Gaggers, before moving back to Los Angeles to resume an artistic career (more)...
