I absolutely loved this very raw, character-driven drama. If you're looking for another "Notting Hill" or "My Best Friend's Wedding", forget it. Look elsewhere. But, if you love sexually-oriented dialogue, and gritty, honest performances, this movie is for you. This film is drama at it's best, i.e. "Leaving Las Vegas", or "Mystic River". None of the characters in "Closer" are remotely likable, but you are still slowly drawn into their sick and twisted world. This is DVD library material for the true drama-lover.
