Its got this overall Tarkovsky feel to it. Tells the story of the father of two boys returning home after an absence of twelve years. We don;t know anything about him, he just came back thats all. While the older boy is full of high hopes with the return of his dad, the younger on the other hand cannot trust get himself to trust him, he sees him as a complete stranger, plus he happens to be at that difficult age were one is tying to become a man, and so has a lot of attitude and pride which can only keep hurting him and blinding him to the capacity of love. I don't want to spoil it for you so i will not say how it ends. But I promise you that this is one good movie.
