Was delighted to discover that V, as a series or premise was going to be continued. Set my Betamax video recorder excitedly! After this first episode I felt a bit let down. Where had the tingle in the Visitor's voices gone? Every shot of the Sky Fighters was one that had been used before. Noticeable, and a tad boring. Characters were the same and still enjoyable. Killing off Martin was a horrible thing to do though! My favorite character!!! Thank God for Philip showing up later in the show's short run! The story of how the Visitors returned was plausible and set this up for a good run but, unfortunately for every one good episode of the series after this, there was a bad one too. Ecstatic to find out 'V The Second Generation' is in production which is set directly after the original V and is hopefully going to discount the events of this series which killed off far too many characters.
