My grandfather talked to me a lot about this movie when I was a kid, so I was eager to watch this movie, recognizing the stuff he talked about and finding about the "secret that the only director of the movie knew". Of course, there is no secret, my grandfather just mixed it up with something. Still, the movie even today has creepy atmosphere and decent, if somewhat (Price) overdone and unbelievable acting. It certainly isn't boring and keeps you interested while it lasts, which is what matters. I would give it 7/10, but I think it deserves at least 7.5/10 due to influence it had on the horror cinema, but I can't really give it more than that, as it's just a simple movie for a fun afternoon. I still do recommend it though!
