"When Dick Gilbert, who is in love with Barbara Wesley, receives a factory promotion, the two become engaged. Morganson, a jealous rival, convinces the general manager that Dick should not receive the promotion, and in despair Dick resigns his position. At a party given by Morganson, Dick hears a discussion of the recent gold strike in Alaska and decides to go there; Morganson accompanies him to the gold country, and after they make a strike, Morganson causes a snowslide to bury Dick. Escaping, Dick uncovers an even larger gold deposit; and Ole, their hired man, tells him of Morganson's treachery. Barbara arrives, and following a confrontation between the two rivals, Morganson is knocked over a cliff, is injured, and dies from exposure. Dick succeeds in uncovering the mine and marries Barbara." Variety 21 Jul 1926 p. 15.
