Before Shaun T took his twin boys home, there was one last thing he had to do.
On Wednesday, the celebrity fitness guru and husband Scott Blokker introduced their surrogate — and her own two children — to their sons after receiving news that Sander Vaughn and Silas Rhys, who arrived early at 32 weeks gestation, had finally been released from the hospital.
“Meet Our Surrogate, Ashley!” Shaun T, 39, wrote alongside a series of photos capturing the emotion-filled introduction, in which both their surrogate and her children held the newborn babies.
“First I wanna say, Its Unbelievable how one person can completely change the course of your life!

From Hollywood royalty having adorable babies to actual royalty getting engaged, the year wasn't without its heartwarming moments – but make no mistake about it, we got more than our fair share of heartache, tragedy and stomach-churning scandal to balance it out.
So let's take a look back at the past 12 months, and see some of the year's greatest highlights and darkest moments – as well as some those pop-culture zeitgeists that captured our attention, long enough for us to temporarily forget our woes.
[Note: We basically left out political stories from the list entirely, both out of a concern for brevity, and our own sanity.]
1. Two Sets of Twins!
February kicked off with a pregnancy announcement that dominated the news cycle unlike anything in recent memory, when Beyonce took to Instagram to gleefully reveal that she and Jay-Z were expecting twins.

Christopher Plummer isn’t jumping into All the Money in the World with the mindset that he’s “replacing” Kevin Spacey.
With Spacey facing numerous allegations of sexual misconduct, the 87-year-old Oscar winner will step into the role of billionaire oil tycoon J. Paul Getty, re-shooting scenes with the plan to keep the film’s current release date of Dec. 22.

Kim Cattrall says she prioritized her role as Samantha on Sex and the City over having children.
The actress, 61, opened up about having considered motherhood during an appearance on Monday’s episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, saying that after she got married to her third husband Mark Levinson in 1998, she thought about starting IVF treatments but decided against it because of the hectic shooting schedule for Satc — which premiered that June.
“I thought to myself, ‘Wow, I have 19-hour days on this series. … My Monday morning would start at 4:45 a.m. and go to one or two in the morning.

Picking favorites when it comes to “30 Rock” is an awful proposition because the whole series, barring a handful of exceptions, remains an extremely watchable and fascinating comedic journey. But with the show leaving Netflix at the beginning of October (and thus becoming completely unstreamable), we find ourselves in the unfortunate position of having to choose favorites.
Twenty-five episodes equates to less than 10 hours, so you should be able to make the time before September 30. And the adventures of Liz Lemon, Tracy Jordan, Jenna Maroney, Jack Donaghy, and beyond are worth it.

The first season of “30 Rock” was a bit rocky, but “Tracy Does Conan” does a few important things: It introduces Dr. Leo Spaceman (Chris Parnell), casts Conan O’Brien as himself, and features Aubrey Plaza as an NBC page (a job she actually held in real life). At 255 titles, the Toronto International Film Festival’s smorgasbord is 20 percent smaller than last year — and still overwhelming. A number of filmmakers took creative risks that paid off with exuberant praise, from Darren Aronofsky’s outrageous “mother!” to Guillermo del Toro’s inimitable “The Shape of Water,” but many others found themselves in the doghouse, or worse, utterly ignored.
Buyers were unhappy that there wasn’t much to choose from at this sellers’ market, because many distributors cherry-picked the more promising titles ahead of time — which is its own risk, as when The Orchard’s La riot drama “Kings” didn’t meet high expectations.
Here’s how the festival shook out.

‘Blade Runner 2049‘ is officially less than a month away. Let that sink in. This is one of those rare films that has the promise of being the first good sequel to a beloved classic. Luckily, the film boasts a major amount of talent. Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, and Dave Bautista all join as he reprises his role as maybe-replicant Rick Decard. The long-awaited sequel to ‘Blade Runner‘, the film takes place 30 years after the first and is finally starting to really ramp up it’s marketing campaign, starting with the prequel short released last week.
The sequel to Ridley Scott‘s original film, ‘Blade Runner 2049‘ is helmed by Dennis Villeneuve. Based on the trailer, Villeneuve is set bring his own interpretation to the universe, while still adhering to the style that Scott established. What is really exciting here is that frequent Villeneuve collaborator Rodger Deakins served as the cinematographer for the film.

With more shows competing than ever and a limited number of nomination slots, it’s no wonder more than a dozen great TV shows only snagged one Emmy nomination in 2017. From “The Leftovers” to “Adventure Time,” these series are only up for one award, but some of them could still win. Below, IndieWire has made predictions for a handful of the best one-nomination wonders, so — just like those that take home armfuls of Emmys — these, too, can rightfully be called “Emmy winners.”
“Adventure Time”
Nomination: Outstanding Short-Form Animated Program
Can It Win? Yes!
Why? A perennial nominee in the category — and six-time winner overall — “Adventure Time” won in this category back in 2015. It lost in 2016 to “Robot Chicken,” but the Cartoon Network series isn’t nominated this year.
In an Ideal World: Other than “Steven Universe,” which is also only nominated in one category, “Adventure Time” is the runaway fan favorite in the category.

HBO’s Crashing may tell a fictionalized version of comedian Pete Holmes‘ life, but that doesn’t mean everything that happens in the series is firmly grounded in reality.

For his first post-“Suicide Squad” offering, director David Ayer is returning to some familiar stomping grounds — with a twist. The director’s wild new Netflix feature “Bright” hues close to Ayer’s earlier films about hardened cops and criminals duking it out on the mean streets of Los Angeles, with the addition of orcs, fairies, and elves. For Ayer, it seems that the key has been tapping into his creativity and the tough stuff that made films like “Training Day” and “End of Watch” work, at least that what his leading lady Noomi Rapace thinks, and she couldn’t be more excited about the fantastic (literally) doors the new film opened for her.

No one quite puts together a heist scene like Steven Soderbergh, but he has plenty of company. Soderbergh is back to his heist roots this week with the release of “Logan Lucky,” which injects some “Ocean’s Eleven” style into a homegrown robbery cooked up by the Logan brothers (Channing Tatum and Adam Driver), who set out to drain a local speedway during one of its biggest race days of the entire year. Aided by a predictably motley crew, including the wild-eyed Joe Bang (Daniel Craig) and their talented driver sister (Riley Keough), the Logans’ plan is ambitious and fun, but it also seems like the kind of thing that only Soderbergh could cook up (it involves digging, vacuuming, cake and prosthetic arms, of all things).

‘Captain Marvel‘ hasn’t even begun production yet, and we’ve already learned a lot about the film. After shuffling release dates several times, the film finally landed on a March 8, 2019 release date. We already know that Brie Larson will star as the title character. We also know that the film is a 90’s period piece, and that Samuel L. Jackson will return to the McU as a pre-eyepatch wearing Nick Fury. And finally, we know that the Skulls will be involved in some capacity in the film.

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “Rick and Morty” Season 3, Episode 2, “Rickmancing the Stone.”]
When “Rick and Morty” premiered back in April with a surprise episode that only a small group of marketing people at Adult Swim knew was coming, it treated fans who had waited since the end of Season 2 with an episode that mainly delivered on some greatest hits. Aliens had captured Rick, hellbent on stealing a secret from his subconscious. Meanwhile, life back on Earth had descended into total chaos. The last shot was even a mirror of the “100 years Rick and Morty” monologue from the end of the show’s pilot.
So how do you follow that up and get audiences excited for what the rest of Season 3 has to offer? Apparently the answer is Badass Summer. It took descending into an all-out “Mad Max: Fury Road” battle for wasteland supremacy, but it looks like the show’s central duo now has a capable third member.

It began with a joke in the episode sneakily released on April Fools’ Day (Aka the Season 3 premiere, which officially debuts on Adult Swim on Sunday, July 30), in which Rick lamented the disappearance of Szechuan Sauce from the McDonald’s menu (which was available briefly for the release of “Mulan”), a thought which quickly went viral.

Few times in history has someone been this excited to be a parrot.
Earlier this month at their Comic-Con panel, the cast and producers of “Archer” gathered to give fans an early glimpse at Season 9 of the animated show. Following the tradition of past themed seasons, like “Archer Vice” and the most recent “Dreamland,” “Archer: Danger Island” will once again take the central crew of the show and bring them to unfamiliar territory.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Twin Peaks, Preacher, Casual and Arrow!
But first, some Qs coming out of San Diego Comic-Con:
1 | Does anyone not think that that Morgan saying “I don’t die” in The Walking Dead’s trailer dooms him?
2 | Kansas performing “Carry on Wayward Son” in Hall H: Peak Supernatural moment? Like, how do they even come close to topping that next year?
3 | Who would you award Miss/Mister Congeniality, of the many who passed through TVLine’s video suite?...

The anticipation that surrounds the lead-up to the San Diego Comic-Con is always intriguing, because there’s a legitimate potential for things to fall apart. You can’t always anticipate how fans will react to big reveals or changes, not to mention new properties that are hoping to gain traction with the convention’s geek-inclined audience.

“Marvel’s Inhumans” is ABC’s next foray into the Marvel Universe, but it’s nothing like “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” or “Agent Carter” (Rip!).
As the title indicates, the majority of the series features a species of beings that were created when aliens started genetic tinkering with the human race when they were just still a primitive species. These Inhumans procreated and developed their own society separate from homo sapiens over millennia, and in present day, they’re ruled by the Royal family, which is where the series comes in.

1. Marvel seriously let the “Iron Fist” showrunner take on another series?! This ought to be interesting.

As the Emmy nominations were announced on Thursday morning, one of the boldest new entries into this year’s awards race signaled the future of an entire category. “Atlanta,” Donald Glover’s groundbreaking FX comedy, picked up 6 nominations overall, including nods for Glover as lead actor and the series itself.
“Atlanta” was a heavy favorite — both at sites like Gold Derby and in IndieWire’s own prediction pages — to nab one of the best comedy series category’s six spots. The Academy recognized the show for writing and directing, not just tossing it a solitary comedy series nom. Episodes as disparate as “Streets on Lock” (where Glover’s Earn spends time in county jail) and “B.A.N.” (a surreal episode-length glimpse into programming on an imaginary cable channel) only come from a fully executed vision that has the freedom to change from week to week.
