Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A climactic confrontation involves the husband getting increasingly angry at his wife, tearing off her clothes (all but her bra), dragging her by her hair and putting her out on the balcony for the public to see (though no public is seen). Then he lets her in and has his hand at her throat. The acting is incredibly intense.
  • The husband is so distraught that he threatens to kill himself if his wife leaves him. He then does begin self-harm, and some blood is seen. His wife subsequently takes him to the hospital. Neither of them dies in the film.
