The man screams and later his face is shown to be bloody and bruised.
- While a man is being dragged out of a room by his foot, he grabs onto things to try and escape. The man dragging him then punches him.
- One man knees another man in the groin, then they both fall down a flight of stairs. A third person then holds a gun on the attacker.
- A man presses a gun into the cheek of another man and threatens to shoot him.
- A man with a gun threatens a police officer.
- A man is grabbed and shoved to the floor at gunpoint. Several women are shoved into a room by people with guns.

- An elderly woman is forced to strip down like the rest of the hostages, but refuses. She is then shown being interrogated by the protagonist and his colleague. The protagonist tries to comfort her, and the whole conversation implies that her being forced to remove her clothes triggered her PTSD from the holocaust.
- In many scenes, it seems like Budwell might kill Lee Gates at any second.
- In one particular scene, a robber finds out that a man has lied to him about having a cell phone, so the robber drags the man into a room and starts beating him. This is viewed through blurry glass but you can make out the two figures and also hear the other hostages screaming and crying.

- We see a person with a hood over their head being shot in the head (blood is sprayed from the hood and the person falls to the floor).
- Several people are shot: one is shot in the head and blood spurts and another is shot repeatedly. Many people come out of a building, they are shot at with rubber bullets, and several are struck (we see them fall to the ground, but there is no blood).
- Tear gas canisters are thrown into rooms where hostages are held.
- A man comes out of a bank with a case strapped around his neck, police hold guns on him, make an insulting remark when they think he is of Arab heritage, remove his turban and take him away in handcuffs.
