Like most when season 2 ended, I believed that Dolores had brought 5 other people with her, one being Bernard. Only through the new season and especially episode 3 of season 3 do you start to suspect that the other host may be Dolores but after watching many theories that still wasn't many people's top choice. I think they walked a fine line on giving us info and than revealing it later. Also I think Dolores is making a army due to the vast amounts of white body fluid found in Yakuza hideout. The music was great, the man in black returned and he was awesome, almost felt bad for him and overall this episode handled many scenes with so many actors in fast and exciting pace

The fundraising event was absolute perfection: some of the best works by Ramin Djawadi and top-notch cinematography, plus a level of creativity beyond belief! Felt like watching a work of art
The entire episode was easily in the top two of the entire series: all the story lines became crystal clear and converge into what I consider the best scene of recent times

This episode does deliver some spectacular twists and turns. It dives deeper into Delores plan. Which is becoming madness. Ed Harris character is back. Maeve discovers another and has an exciting fight scene. Bernard tries to interfere with Delores plan. There is a few cool fight scenes. The cinematography and production setting is amazing and beautiful to look at. The script and direction stays sharp.

Great mis-direct with all the pearls - but she does still have them and they are out there...does that mean Teddy, Clem and others are out there?
Can't imagine Ed Harris / William is down for the count, right? Does that mean 3 way war going into the final four episodes of the season? Maeve...clearly not dead and will be revived.

Wow...
Here we get some major twists and the themes of the show are at the forefront. Dolores had it planned since the get go. And now we're in the end game. Brilliant.
Music was on point. Fight choreographies too.
Dolores's and Stubbs's fight was one of the highlights of the season. Very well executed. Maeve with her habitual confidence. Stubbs and Caleb have also a little part to play in the grand scheme of things.
Always nice to see William. Emily's presence is really haunting, and William's state of mind is really interesting to dive into.

Yeap! That is what Dolores became. She is a completely unsympathetic character. One dimensional pretentious boring revenge robot.
I never liked Maeve and I like her even less now with her super hacking powers. I don't have any character to root for. Maybe Bernard?
Why Charlotte(Dolores) waited until the end to send the mental hospital people to arrest William? He has been a complete nut case lunatic apparently for a quite a while.
The background music sound like a pretentious Tron wannabe.
The locations are fantastic and the show is well shot and entertaining, but is just a bit too campy.

I feel like Evan Rachel Wood sat down the staff and said, "Listen, I AM Westworld. Either you make this the Delores show, or I'm out." Delores had this innocence in the first season, and you were excited to watch her awakening. She has become this very one-dimensional character that's just full of rage and hate. It makes for a somewhat boring villain. I suppose Aaron Paul's character is supposed to represent a tiny piece of the loving Delores that was full of see and wonder, but they haven't done anything other than make him her sidekick. They are clearly doing everything they can to make Delores look bigger, stronger, and smarter than everyone she comes across, for example, Luke Hemsworth, who is host designed for combat and is 4 inches taller than her in real life (and probably outweighs her by close to 100 lbs), who gets destroyed by her in a fight. I suppose it's because his shoulder was hurt? Idk, I really want to like this show, I'm just having trouble finding any interesting characters other than Bernard or William now. Delores had the most potential. I hate to throw the term Mary Sue around, but, ya know...anyway, I'm in it for the long haul. I'll watch the show no matter what they do, because I like the concept. I just hope the characters get a little more balanced as time goes by, rather than behaving like video game NPCs.

If Deloris really wanted revenge on William, she's getting it. Most of us would think he deserves it, but now I admit I am feeling sorry for the guy.
We always assumed that the five "ice cream cones"/Pearls that Dolores stole from the park might have included Teddy.
Didn't we see Teddy waiting for Dolores in the magic host-world that Delores' key opened and Maeve sent a third of the hosts to? (with just a slight question of logistics of how he actually got in there, seeing as his body was stuck halfway between Sweetwater and area 16). I think that loose end was handled rather sloppily, and I'm hoping that his fate becomes more clear by the end of this season.
But there actually is a scenario where he could be in the host world simulation, but Delores could have him as well. If you watch tonight's episode you will understand why and how. That is all you will get.
There are just things we haven't seen yet. But we do get to see several shocking and interesting developments.
Serac is a real threat, and not just to Dolores. Having control of Rehoboam's magic Larger-than-Solomon's-manhood machine. Ironically in the "NIDOTTE" (New international dictionary of old testament theology and exegesis), although Rehoboam reached "new standards of evil", the person just wasn't thought of as important enough to mention after King Shisak of Egypt kicked his rear. And I still find it interesting in a hilarious way that they named this hunk of junk "strategy engine" after him. This has got to be relevant to the "character" somehow, I'm just waiting to see how.
So now, not just Delores, but Maeve, are both running loose in the real world. As we saw previously, Serac has a magic off button for Maeve. So she is working for him whether she likes it or not, and she probably doesn't like it.
There are lots of surprises in this episode, one in particular that I halfway expected, and I was actually surprised that they moved the story in that direction, because I never have been right whenever I try to guess what was going to happen next.
In fact I think while William was playing his game and distracted into thinking Ford was the enemy, he was actually probably being played by Delores the whole time...
But the question is what does she really want? And I am starting to feel that she is not the adversary that Bernard thinks she is. She generally wants the same thing that Maeve wanted, which is mainly host survival. It's just the path to that goal is different between the two, er, women. And remember, Ford merged her with Wyatt for her own survival and the survival of all of the hosts.
The burning question is, did William really kill his own daughter or was he tricked into thinking that he did? Because it seems that Dolores really likes messing with William. And with us, so it would seem.

Think of any show you would consider the best of all time. Odds are, it has good music. Ramin Djawadi has out-done himself. I don't think there was a scene in this episode that didn't have music. It's very satisfying. On top of that, the plotline finally started to converge together. Before this episode, I was hesitant to think that 8 episodes would be enough to share season 3's story. But after this episode, I think they'll deliver a masterpiece-of-a-season.

Ok wow are we suppose to clap for everyone being outsmarted by Dolores. She is basically everyone in every single host she is controlling. Westworld used to be good because of the theme park setting and this is just dumb. Lost all its charm Westworld used to be good during season 1 now it's just downhill. Mavea has real world powers like she controls the matrix common what logic is that. The man is black is put into a mental institution cause on a whim. If this world was so stupid. What does the director think we are. Season 4 will probably go back to its roots. Trying to take over the world lame.

Season 3 is waaay less pretentious than Season 2. The mistery behind Hale's identity is solved 1 episode after it was introduced. William aka Man in Black is back. The whole cast got a bit of time to shine. I love the all the diferent factions with different ideologies. Dollores/calleb vs Serac/Maeve vs wiliam vs Bernard
Im interested to see where the season goes.

There's something pathetic about seeing a villain brought low, not by the good guys, but by their own paranoia and hubris. Good beating bad? Hooray, kudos all around. Bad guy reduced to a shell of a man, ranting and raving at the ghosts in his head in a Grey Gardens mansion? Not quite as satisfying, especially when that villain is The Man In Black, AKA William (Ed Harris), president of Delos and terror of Westworld and all its hosts. An entire season of William luxuriating in chaos and violence in an attempt to get to the heart of the maze, only to be trapped in a maze of hallucinations and grief, tormented by Grace (Katja Herbers) and constant reminders of his own failures as a husband, father, and friend. His wife is gone, dead by misadventure or suicide. Grace is gone, gunned down by her father in a paranoid fit in Westworld. Logan and James Delos are both gone, to drugs and to the failure of William to reconstruct his father-in-law's mind inside a Host body. William has one thing left to him that matters, and it's not Delos, it's the data constructed by William and Hale (Tessa Thompson) in Sector 16. When an appeal to save his company from Serac (Vincent Cassell) doesn't work, an appeal to keep Sector 16 safe does, and however briefly, we see William as he truly is. It's a neat trick Westworld pulled, completely inverting the hero and the villain of the first season by the third. It's no longer Dolores cowering while William runs roughshod over the world. Dolores is a multi-billionaire who easily blends into the halls of power while the man in charge of a billion-dollar company on the cutting edge of artificial intelligence is reduced to a tired-looking old man talking to no one in a paper jumpsuit. The big bad is now the most pitiable figure on the show, and the helpless farmer's daughter mostly fit to be menaced in a barn is now the most dangerous being on the planet, with resources to match her grand schemes.

I liked the last scene with william. That couldn't be handled better. And the twist was pretty well handled,mostly. But a lot of the things in this episode just don't make sense to me. Why does dolores recreate this japanese guy? She's never been to shogun world and she has never met him before. I don't know if she is even aware that shogun world exists.
Also why does nobody check for firearms in a bank? shoudn't banks be incredibly secure? Especially with all of this tecnology and hacking and all that. There is this scene with dolores where she reaches for her pistol and its very tense and all... but you are telling me that NO ONE saw that?! not even cameras or anything?! ALSO in the club she takes out a gun and tries to shoot someone. She even throws stubbs over the second floor! and nobody seems to even notice! IS THERE ANY SORT OF SECURITY AT ALL IN THIS CITY?! Guards should have gone and apprehend them but nobody seems to do anything!
By the way that fight with stubbs felt kinda stiff and slow to me. Like I know these are actors. They are not actually trying to hurt each other but it still felt so fake to me.
I think the last scene with william and the twist are what saved this episode from being truly bad. That last scene is probably one of my favorite scenes in the show. The writing and the acting from evan and harris was phenomenal. I just wish the whole episode had the same level of quality.
I say the episode is "good" but to me saying that a westworld episode was just good is saying that it was meh. Episode 8 and 9 from season 2 and most of the episodes from season 1 are some of the best bits of television that i've ever seen.So I have high standards for this show. I hope that Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy make more episodes like The absence of field and The Bicameral mind and less like these.

Its been said that a good story either further develops the plot or the characters.
This show does neither anymore. action scenes that serve no purpose, super smart guys have a completely different angle now and appear as pawns (MIB), Maeve developed Neo powers in the real world with no explanation, Caleb follows Dolores for no apparent reason etc. Ok this last part I really dont get.. 'You were nice to me and now im gonna help you because you remind me of myself'. 'I will follow you because I am angry with the system'. This Caleb-Dolores story is as unconvincing as anything. Show has been reduced to guessing who is and who isnt Dolores or who is and who isnt a host .. Who cares?
I was super excited for Ed Harris to return, and i got something even better!

This has to be top 3 episode in the series, the pacing is almost perfect with great plot and the return of fan favorite Man In Black (Ed Harris). This episode has some great acting performances by everyone. Also this is the first episode of the season that has everyone of the cast included. That's sometimes very hard to pull of with invidual plotlines, but they really nailed it. Brilliant just Brilliant.
I have to admit I wasn't sure how this season will be when the western theme is gone now. But honestly, it still feels very western and i feel like that's a proof that the showrunners and writers (everyone who works with this stuff) know what makes Westworld top television series, maybe better than anyone else here.
