Does Kidd Have TTo Be Involved In Everything Now?

Stella teaming up with Severide now! So the writers are just doubling down on the most annoying and unliveable character. The OFI stories were a great diversion from the norm always. It was great to see Seceride going solo and the pairing with himself and Seager was fun. Noel still has to be involved and has to be the problem solver. Isn't this rubbish enough in things like Star Trek Discovery with Michael Burnham? We don't need another Mary Sue. It's time the writers got rid of Kidd. I'm tired of her and stress dragging down the show with her. Casey is a big loss. They should have entered the show around Seceride and Brett.

An opening explosion and fire sequence at a jewellery store that is worthy of big screen Hollywood gets the blood pumping immediately, and there is an investigation to come afterward into the circumstances. Severide again gets to do some OFI work. He's great in that role, especially when the suspects are antagonising him or just being difficult.

Joe and Chloe take steps to adopt Javi, which is fantastic. I've written before about Joe Minoso's acting chops getting some additional room to breathe with this storyline, and long may that continue. Unfortunately, the latter stages of the episode suggest that the adoption process will be anything but smooth sailing, due to ghosts from Cruz's past.

And everyone tries their hardest to bond with Carver.

My Mom got me Hooked on this Show! I usually don't Review TV Shows. But the Chicago Series is now my Ultimate Favorite Series! Watching Last Season's Reruns got me through the Long, Hot Summer and Really Helped me through some things.

Good story, disappointingly wrong details

As usual, I liked the story. The overall story line is great. I really wish that the makers of the show had paid more attention to the details. The first one below is just plain ludicrous which only stupid people would miss. The second one some people might miss, but if they had never used such a device. Most lower-income people HAVE used this device.

Humorously Stupid: Applying a blood pressure cuff just above the wrist, over shirt and coat sleeves. That would be ludicrously ineffective.

False: "The timer couldn't have been set more than 5 minutes before the blast." That type of timer is a cheap type of electrically driven clock which mechanically switches the power on and off. It can be set to perform a switch up to 23 hours before.
