Wraps up an amazing trilogy perfectly. The acting in this movie is possibly the best I've ever seen - Bale, Hardy, Caine, Freeman, Gordon-Levitt and, yes, even Anne Hathaway all do amazing jobs. Tom Hardy's Bane was incredible - it blows me away how much expression he can show using only his eyes and body language.

Everything about this movie is perfect. The acting, the camerawork, the concept, the screenplay, the score... not to mention it has plenty of action to satisfy action-junkies like me, without getting in the way of everything else that makes this movie brilliant. Christopher Nolan is a genius.

The best action-orientated movie in the world. The acting is magnificent, even by the young boy playing John Connor. Schwarzenegger, whom is normally a fairly ordinary actor, fits the role of the Terminator perfectly. The most incredible part of this film is the way it makes you feel as if you are there, and makes you really feel the tension and suspense of the characters. I even found myself fearing for their lives.

Another great film by Peter Jackson. He really transports us to Skull Island and makes us feel compassion for a giant gorilla (not an easy task, I would imagine). The fight with the V-Rexes has been criticised by many, but I thought it one of the highlights of the film.

A lot of people think this the worst of the Original Trilogy, mostly because of the Ewoks. I agree that they are stupid but I just don't find myself caring about how silly they are when I watch it. It's great to see the war with the Empire finally resolved. The resolution between Luke and Vader is possibly the greatest ending of character arcs (both of them) I've seen in a film.

Apparently, given its relatively low rating, other moviegoers didn't see this film as excellent as I saw it. I was enthralled the entire time, a knot of tension forming in my gut as I watched Russell Crowe deal with the difficulties of being a single parent while simultaneously trying to bust his wife out of prison. The cameo by Liam Neeson was quite a nice addition as well.

Yes, I like an episode of the Prequel Trilogy. So, hate me for it. I loved this movie because I actually shared Anakin's anguish throughout the film and felt Obi-Wan's deep sadness at being betrayed by his apprentice and best friend. I was glued to the screen the whole time. So, I don't really care whether you think the Prequels are all terrible. This one isn't - and it's not because of the action scenes (though the lightsabre duel between Vader and Kenobi was AMAZING), nor the CGI, that I like it.

Definitely an improvement over previous instalments in the Fast and Furious franchise. The first three were pretty mediocre movies. The fourth was pretty good, though not good enough to make its way onto my list. However, Fast Five is better than all the previous films put together. It has acting, action, and a lot more plot than the others (which, I guess, isn't saying that much). It's good to see Dwayne Johnson stepping back up to action roles - seeing him do The Tooth Fairy was painful.

I was a bit worried about this film and what it might do to the series - after noting its R rating (in Australia, an R rating is considered worse than in America - e.g. Die Hard, which is R in America, is only M in Australia, which is two steps down from R. The first 3 Rambo movies are all M rated in Australia), and hearing a lot of people speak negatively about it. But when I watched it, I was pleasantly surprised. It really does shock you to watch the horrible things that are happening in Burma - which is what the film was designed to do. It's also one of the few examples of good acting by Stallone (other than the fact that you can't understand a word he says). So, if you've got a stomach for violence and you enjoy a good action movie, Rambo will not disappoint.
