Barrett Blade, the husband of Stormy Daniels, revealed that the couple would likely leave the U.S. if Donald Trump is acquitted in his New York hush money trial.
Blade made this declaration during an interview with CNN anchor Erin Burnett on Erin Burnett OutFront.
“Stormy spent more than seven hours on the stand,” Burnett noted. “She was there for over two days. Obviously, it’s the first time she was face to face with Trump since 2007. I was in that room. They’re only ten or 15 feet apart for those hours and hours. How does she feel now that her testimony is behind her?”
“I mean, I don’t think she feels any differently,” Blade responded. “Maybe a little relieved to not have to be stressed about going in there. But I think she feels the same way she always has felt about it.”

There are two types of horror movie enthusiasts: those who are looking for something genuinely scary and live for the adrenaline rush of watching it, and those who are constantly looking for something so unbelievably creepy that it makes the movie oddly entertaining but not scary at all. Luckily, both groups can find what they are looking for on Netflix.
Here's the list of 5 horror movies that will make you leave the lights on when you go to sleep, and 5 that can only be hated, all rated and ranked by their scores on Rotten Tomatoes. Just pick the one that suits your interests.

Universal Pictures and Peacock forked over an amount somewhere in the range of $400 million to acquire the rights to distribute a trilogy of sequels to the 1973 classic The Exorcist, which we’re going to another collaboration between Blumhouse Productions and director David Gordon Green (who recently delivered a trilogy of Halloween sequels), they were definitely expecting the first entry in the new trilogy to go over better with audiences than The Exorcist: Believer did when it was released last October. (You can read our 4/10 review Here.) The box office numbers were okay, the movie pulled in $137 million on a $30 million budget, but Universal was hoping for a lot better than “okay,” and viewer reactions were largely negative. Soon after the release of Believer, we heard that Universal and Blumhouse still intended to carry out the trilogy, but the follow-ups would be reworked – and Green had left the project. Now it...

Nearly three years have gone by since Chris Stuckmann, a movie critic and author with a channel on YouTube that has over 2 million subscribers, signed a deal with Paper Street Pictures to write and direct the mystery horror film Shelby Oaks. Two years ago, the project became the most-funded horror film project in Kickstarter history, with its crowdfunding campaign pulling in over $1 million. Filming took place in the Cleveland, Ohio area back in 2022, and while we still don’t know when we’re going to have a chance to see Shelby Oaks, Deadline reports that genre filmmaker Mike Flanagan has just board the project, which is making its way through post-production, as an executive producer.
Flanagan’s previous credits include Absentia, Oculus, Hush, Before I Wake, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Gerald’s Game, The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club, and...

Actor David Dastmalchian, who was recently seen in the horror films The Boogeyman, The Last Voyage of the Demeter, and Late Night with the Devil, has just launched a new talk show called Grave Conversations, with “first guest” honors going to actress Kate Siegel, whose credits include Hush, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and The Fall of the House of Usher. Grave Conversations interviews are expected to last just six to eight minutes and can be viewed on the official Instagram page. What makes Grave Conversations stand out from other talk shows, other than having Dastmalchian as the host, is the fact that interviews are conducted while Dastmalchian and his guest are both lying in Titan caskets.

The upcoming film The Life of Chuck is the latest Stephen King adaptation from Mike Flanagan, who has previously been at the helm of the Stephen King adaptations Gerald’s Game and Doctor Sleep (and is also developing a series adaptation of The Dark Tower for Amazon Studios) – but it is not a horror movie. Flanagan has let it be known that this isn’t horror, and cast member David Dastmalchian has said the same in a new interview with Gizmodo, describing the film and elements in it as beautiful and heartbreaking.
Dastmalchian, who was also in the recent King adaptation The Boogeyman, said (with thanks to Coming Soon for the transcription), “It’s beautiful. You think, ‘Oh, Mike Flanagan, Stephen King, this thing’s going to just be the most horrifying, terrifying, thing you’ve ever seen.’ [But] it is so beautifully rendered, heartfelt, the drama, the performances. The cast in this is deep.

Those who wish someone other than Jesse Eisenberg had played Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice could have seen their dream come true if Leonardo DiCaprio had accepted the role. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Snyder said he spoke on the phone with Adam Driver about the villainous role and that he approached DiCaprio about playing the bald baddie, too.
When asked if DiCaprio showed any interest, Snyder said, “I think so.” Adding, “He had a lot of great ideas actually, just in the meeting. I think in the end, he was like ‘Eh, I don’t know.’ But he was really smart about the material and really smart about the character.”
“He was the one that mentioned to me the idea about Superman fighting the Justice League at some point,” Snyder added. As you know, we saw this plot point come...

Bill Skarsgård’s upcoming film, Boy Kills World recently released its trailer, and fans cannot help but admire his physical transformation for the role. This article contains spoilers for all of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the show titled after her are both cultural icons. Buffy is one of those series that most sci-fi, fantasy, and horror fans have some kind of awareness of even if they have never watched an episode. It kick-started the careers of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers, Alyson Hannigan as Willow Rosenberg, and David Boreanaz as Angel.
The series was also stuffed to the brim with memorable moments, from the hilarious (Buffy trying to mime staking a vampire in “Hush”), to the kick-ass (Buffy taking out the Judge with a rocket launcher in “Innocence”), to the gut-wrenching (Buffy finding Joyce in “The Body”). But there is one moment that stands out above all the others and embodies what the show is about.

Hollywood has seen many changes throughout the various eras that it has gone through. From silent and black-and-white films, we have seen the evolution of film to color. The format of shooting films has also changed over the years, from proper film roll to digital filmmaking. The 2010s have seen the boom of streaming and the possibilities that it provides.
Movies like 2016’s Hush was removed from its streamer (Netflix) and is now not available anywhere
In recent months, there were reports of studio heads removing chunks of content from their streaming services to optimize taxes and restructure their brand. While this move has concerned filmmakers, industry insiders predict that a greater threat might be imminent for Hollywood.

Every studio wants its own massive cinematic universe. Though many have tried (never forget the Dark Universe), none have managed to be nearly as successful as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony's equivalent, the universe formerly known as Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (or Spumc), is now four movies deep (with at least two more coming this year). All the movies so far have revolved around supporting characters in the "Spider-Man" comics, mostly villains, but that's about to change this weekend.
The latest entry in Sony's Marvel universe is "Madame Web," the first movie that doesn't center on a villain, but instead, focuses on a hero and ally of Spider-Man. A sign of the downfall of civilization, or just the latest proof of superhero fatigue, "Madame Web" follows Cassandra Webb, a paramedic who discovers she has the spider-like ability to see the future. There’s a reason that home invasion horror films like The Strangers, Them, The Purge, Hush, Don’t Breathe, Funny Games, and more rank highly among horror fans. The very concept of your private sanctuary getting corrupted and invaded by an unhinged intruder who means you grave harm is inherently terrifying. The realistic thrills of home invasion films can offer some of the most intense horror, and some of the biggest surprises when the formula is subverted.
This week’s streaming picks are dedicated to home invasion horror movies that unleash suspense, chills, violence, and stalker thrills. Here’s where you can stream them this week.

Some horror properties naturally lend themselves to incessant sequels, while others seem to will themselves into existence through sheer will, as if they’re the result of a demonic possession. William Friedkin’s The Exorcist, while over 50 years old, is still considered to be one of the scariest movies of all-time. Various Exorcist sequels and even a two-season television series have materialized over time. However, none of these projects generated the same level of skepticism that accompanied Blumhouse’s announcement that they’d be producing not just a legacy sequel to Friedkin’s original film, but an entire trilogy, directed by David Gordon Green. Green had just pulled off a similar spectacle with his Halloween legacy sequel trilogy, yet Michael Myers’ slasher antics are much more conducive to this formula than repeated returns to The Exorcist’s MacNeils.

"Echo" looks as though it could mark the moment the Marvel Cinematic Universe might get back on track. This is the very first "Marvel Spotlight" series, indicating that "Echo" is its own show and doesn't require audiences to have seen a thousand other MCU projects to understand the narrative. It also means we'll be getting a lot more focus on character rather than events that occur simply to progress the overall MCU narrative. Pretty neat! Especially since we've had far too much MCU in recent years, and most of it has just been an excuse to set up whatever comes next in the saga.
Anyone who saw the "Echo" trailer will know this TV-ma series is a decidedly gritty affair, following in the footsteps of the original Marvel Netflix shows that were focused on "street-level" heroes rather than the grand spectacles of the MCU movies. In the trailer, Alaqua Cox's Maya Lopez/Echo,...

Camden Toy, the versatile character actor famed for playing a succession of demonic monsters on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has died. He was 68.
Toy died Dec. 11, after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer, his representatives confirmed in a press release.
Often caked under layers of makeup as well as special prosthetics, Toy would be unrecognizable for many of his most well-known turns on Buffy and later Angel, playing one of the Gentleman, the Prince of Lies and the demon Gnarl among others, but his unmistakable physical acting would rank him and close friend Doug Jones as firm fan favorites.
“This is hard,” Jones tweeted on Wednesday. “So many memories including working together, decades of laughing, sharing mutual friends, get-togethers, travel, conventions, and huggles with each other and our fans. From Buffy on, 24 years blessed to have this friend. May he rest in God’s peace.”

Warning: The following contains spoilers for Oculus and The Fall of the House of Usher.
Of all the horror creators currently working in the business, few have the ability to tear at our heartstrings like Mike Flanagan. Beginning with the 2018 hit miniseries The Haunting of Hill House, the director’s horrific Netflix shows are just as likely to elicit cathartic sobs as hysterical screams. However, with a cast of unlikeable characters and a cavalcade of grisly deaths, Flanagan’s newest series The Fall of the House of Usher may signal a return to the grim horror of his early career. Films like Absentia, Hush, and Ouija: Original of Evil all center harsh and unforgiving stories – a gut punch rather than a bittersweet embrace. Gwyneth Paltrow has a tenuous relationship with the MCU despite playing Pepper Potts in numerous Marvel films. During an appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival, Paltrow confirmed that she “stopped watching them at some point.”
“I’ve never seen Endgame,” the actress told the audience during a career retrospective event. “I’ve never seen any of these. I can’t keep track. I probably should at some point.”

“A lot of Goop,” one of the attendees remarked on leaving Gwyneth Paltrow’s In Conversation talk taking place at the Red Sea Film Festival. “A bit lopsided,” another agreed. Many of the gathered gripped Marvel posters and wore Marvel T-shirts, but everyone was happy to welcome an actor whose career has spanned films as diverse as “Se7en,” “The Royal Tenenbaums” and “Shakespeare in Love,” and the biggest applause came when she said that this was her first time in Saudi Arabia.
The first female CEO of the Saudi Research and Media Group Jomana al-Rashid acted as moderator and began the talk with a survey of Paltrow’s acting career and her first inspiration: “My mother is an actress. She did mostly theater. And so I grew up as a little girl watching her rehearse plays and running around the theater. My mother would even say she always felt a bit insecure.

I.S.S. trailer ramps up the paranoia and tension in the isolation of space amid a global devastation
Space is a scary enough place. Imagine being in space and witnessing a devastation taking place on Earth. That’s the start of the premise of the new sci-fi thriller, I.S.S., from Bleecker Street. Bloody Disgusting has just unveiled the new trailer online. The titular initials stand for the International Space Station and is the prime setting for this film. The mood starts friendly enough and showcases the crew of both American and Russian missions living in the structure in perfect harmony. Unbeknownst to them, hell is about to break loose on the planet below. As both crew teams witness vast explosions taking place on the surface of Earth, confusion, sadness, desperation and anger overcome the crew, and as they each receive extreme orders from their governments, the peace within the station dissipates.
The synopsis reads,
“Tensions flare in the near future aboard the International Space Station as...

Of all the episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," one of the most memorable and ambitious has to be the season 4 episode "Hush." A set of horrifying demons come to Sunnydale and steal the voices of the entire town, forcing the Scoobies to take them down while communicating through pantomime. Some of the actors thought that the episode would be a walk in the park — there would be fewer lines to memorize, after all — but it ended up being one of the most challenging episodes of the series.
Season 4 is one of the more aimless seasons of "Buffy" and is often considered to be one of the worst. As a coming-of-age series, Buffy leaving high school was a huge turning point for the show and left controversial series creator Joss Whedon feeling the need to shake things up. When the idea for a silent episode came to him, it seemed...

During an interview last week, Tom Hiddleston (Loki) confirmed that his work on the film The Life of Chuck – the latest Stephen King adaptation from Mike Flanagan, who has previously been at the helm of the Stephen King adaptations Gerald’s Game and Doctor Sleep (and is also developing a series adaptation of The Dark Tower for Amazon Studios) – was complete. Flanagan has since taken to social media to confirm that filming has wrapped completely… and to let us know that The Life of Chuck is not a horror movie. Which makes sense, since we’ve previously heard that the movie will be similar in tone to the likes of Stand By Me, The Shawshank Redemption, and The Green Mile (and Hiddleston himself compared it to The Shawshank Redemption).

Mike Flanagan – who has previously been at the helm of the Stephen King adaptations Gerald’s Game and Doctor Sleep (and is also developing a series adaptation of The Dark Tower for Amazon Studios) – recently went into production on another King adaptation, The Life of Chuck… and now, during an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, star Tom Hiddleston (Loki) has confirmed that his work on the film has been completed. While talking about the film, Hiddleston also compared it to one of the most popular King adaptations, The Shawshank Redemption!
Based on the short story from King’s 2020 anthology If It Bleeds, The Life of Chuck consists of three separate stories linked to tell the biography of Charles Krantz in reverse, beginning with his death from a brain tumor and ending with his childhood in a supposedly haunted house.
Hiddleston is playing Chuck, with Mark Hamill (Star Wars) playing a character named Albie.

Martin Scorsese may have started another trend: directors on Letterboxd, as filmmaker Mike Flanagan has joined the popular service aimed at movie fans looking to rate, rank and review. And unlike so many of us, Flanagan won’t be basking in the glory of shredding any movie he hates, instead using the website to celebrate cinema.
Mike Flanagan took to X on Sunday to promote his joining Letterboxd, writing, “Finally joined Letterboxd. Only positing positivity, and it’s going to take me a few weeks to catch up on building my profile, but here’s a start:” along with a screenshot of one of his top four favorite films, The Shawshank Redemption. The other three are All That Jazz, Lawrence of Arabia and Jaws.

Horror fans have been blessed with a bold new generation of Scream Queens, from “Wednesday” star Jenna Ortega to Mia Goth of “X” and “Pearl,” to “Yellowjackets” stars Jasmin Savoy Brown and Sophie Thatcher, not to mention the women of “Fear Street,” Stranger Things” and Mike Flanagan’s deliciously spooky “Haunting of…” Netflix series.

When it was first announced that Mike Flanagan – who has previously been at the helm of the Stephen King adaptations Gerald’s Game and Doctor Sleep (and is also developing a series adaptation of The Dark Tower for Amazon Studios) – would be directing another King adaptation, The Life of Chuck, there were two actors already attached to the project: Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Mark Hamill (Star Wars). Once filming got underway in Alabama earlier this month (the independent production was able to secure a SAG interim agreement that allows it to film while the Screen Actors Guild strike is still going on), it was revealed that Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), and Jacob Tremblay (The Predator) are also in the cast. And now Flanagan has taken to social media to reveal the names of the rest of the characters – a list that includes A Nightmare on Elm Street...

Mike Flanagan brings back several of his favorite actors for his new Netflix series “The Fall of the House of Usher,” including wife Kate Siegel, Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood and Henry Thomas. You’ll also recognize several cast members from the canceled-too-soon “Midnight Club” and a few from the film “Doctor Sleep” and the limited series “Midnight Mass.”
And you might need help keeping track of who’s who within the Usher family, headed up by Roderick and Madeleine Usher. Flanagan drew on various Edgar Allan Poe writings for this macabre tale, including the title story, as well as “The Masque of the Red Death,” “The Raven” and “The Pit and the Pendulum.”

Sure as the Pizza Planet truck will show up in every Pixar movie (except "The Incredibles" for some reason), the Lasser Glass can always be found somewhere in Mike Flanagan's horror movies and TV shows. This ornate, evil mirror hails from the very beginning of Flanagan's career -- a short film called "Oculus: Chapter 3 - The Man with the Plan," made in 2005 -- and the filmmaker has brought it with him ever since. Either that ... or it's been following him.
As you might expect, the Lasser Glass makes another appearance in Flanagan's new Netflix series, "The Fall of the House of Usher." An adaptation of various works by Edgar Allan Poe, the eight-episode series reimagines the doomed Usher family as pharmaceutical magnates in the vein of the real-life Sackler family. The Ushers have played a major role in creating America's opioid crisis, but have escaped justice thanks to a...

A clever and well-crafted alien invasion story that would have absolutely slayed in theaters if not for Disney’s choice to dump it straight to Hulu (the streaming era is nothing if not a golden age for self-sabotage), Brian Duffield’s “No One Will Save You” does something that no sci-fi horror movie ever has before: It makes it seem weird that its heroine isn’t constantly talking to herself. In fact, Brynn Adams — played by a game and ultra-expressive Kaitlyn Dever — hardly says a single word the entire film.
If the effect is similar to the classic “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” episode “Hush,” the reason for Brynn’s silence is not because she can’t speak, but rather because she doesn’t really have anyone to speak to. That’s just how she likes it. Perfectly content to live alone in an isolated house at the end of a...

If you've ever seen a list of the spookiest "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" episodes, you've probably seen installments such as "Nightmares" or "Buffy vs. Dracula" regularly cropping up. It also seems that fans are pretty much united in their view that the scariest episode of "Buffy" is "Hush."
There's no doubt those grinning villains, known only as "The Gentlemen," were a powerful image, and perhaps the most iconic antagonists of the entire series. The concept of the episode, too, is pretty unsettling, with all the residents of Sunnydale losing their voices, leaving them unable to scream as The Gentlemen go about their diabolical mission of extracting human hearts.
But there's one episode of "Buffy" that remains truly haunting in a way that "Hush," or any episode for that matter, never quite was. This one doesn't necessarily have a memorable villain, but it's about as creepy an episode of the show as you'll ever see.
